Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

While this administration spends $2B a day on war, it just ripped away Medicaid and SNAP from millions of Americans. 13 U.S. service members have been killed, and thousands of Marines are now heading to the Middle East—appearing to prepare for boots on the ground. Americans don’t support this. Meanwhile, on day one of this war, the U.S. bombed a children’s school. That’s a war crime. More than 1,200 Iranian civilians have already been killed, and dozens of hospitals, water plants, and oil refineries have been hit—damage that will have catastrophic health impacts for years to come—all after tens of thousands of Iranians were massacred by their own brutal regime. Today, Republicans in Congress tried to shovel billions to ICE without any restraints whatsoever AGAIN. Their bill doesn’t even make ICE follow the same rules that as local police officers. I voted NO.

Every federal dollar intended for child care that is lost to fraud is a dollar that cannot be used to support working families who need those services. That is why today’s HELP Committee hearing on fraud in federally funded child care programs was so important. Child care fraud schemes cannot be allowed to continue, and it is incumbent on federal agencies and state leaders to ensure that taxpayer dollars are used legally, transparently, and for their intended purpose.

My Republican colleagues are trying to pass a bill that would make it harder for folks across the country to vote. Why? Because they’re afraid of losing elections. That’s not how democracy works. I’m a hell no.

Passing voter ID has to be done to save America. If not done, the radical left will immediately end the filibuster when they regain power and pass no voter ID nationally, LIKE THEY ALREADY TRIED TO DO. If not for Manchin and Sinema, they would have succeeded.
