I saved roughly over $200K in past 1 week because i didnt buy and kept cash on hand. If i bought on the last Friday or early on Monday, i would have been down roughly 10% to 15%. Power of patience in market like this makes more money than investing. Today’s Dip was not the bottom..

Don't blow $750 if you don't have it like that. And then it's about $830 if you have a physical game library, so you're blowing $800+ because you're scared about PS5 Pro turning into a $1000 console in April. The regular PS5 is fine until PS6.

@JuiceMan_V Been playing TLOU2 Remastered on the base PS5 and it looks amazing. There's no reason to upgrade unless you have money to throw away. GTA6 will look just fine on base PS5 just as Red Dead looked amazing on a basic PS4!

Just keep in mind market recovery events usually happen largely in 1 day, if you sit too long trying to time the bottom, you’ll almost definitely miss the single large day majority recovery. I respectfully disagree with your view - the market is down relative to where it was prior to the event, and yes we may not be at the bottom, but the 1 thing you can be sure of is that you will benefit from the recovery of *this* point to historic highs, even if you have to ride the storm a little bit. Take the 5-10% recovery of this point even if you go down a few more % first, rather than trying to time the bottom and missing the majority of the recovery.

No one has a crystal ball, but the market sentiment is palpable. The bottom isn't in, and this has got some way to go by the looks of things. Holding onto my cash still seems the sensible thing to do right now. Lots of people will say that trying to time the market is a fools game, which I agree with in principle. However, right now, it seems a no-brainer and has done since Jan. So I'm pleased with my decision to hold out and happy to let things ride for a bit.

@videotechuk_ I wouldn’t be surprised if there was internal conversations to delay GTAVI due to these prices. Most definitely wouldn’t happen but I don’t imagine R* is too happy about this

This generations is basically prices going up and value going down🚀 Not a single game this generation, especially from Sony’s first party studios is worth a $650-900 console. I say this as a day one adopter of base PS5, PS5 Pro and Portal. I know I got the original pricing, but even that feels too much for a whole lot of nothing that PlayStation Studios and most others had to offer, or even what’s coming on the way. Gaming is really going backwards🎤

Last night at @hf0 I talked with an investor who told me he just gave a talk to Anthropic’s engineering team, who define AGI as “able to do more than half of all human jobs.” He asked them how far we were away from that. Average answer, he told me, was two years. Some said shorter. Some said longer. Separately… Number one job in America is truck driving. 1.3 million jobs. Last week had dinner with @KodiakRobotics founder that makes autonomous trucks. He says his trucks are already driving around and can do 99.99% of what a human can do. And is improving rapidly. He is just being held back by regulation, he told me, which he expects to allow such soon. In other words we are quickly running into a jobs problem. We need massive governmental programs to retrain people. And let’s be honest. Our government is totally unprepared. Which explains why @sama is saying it is a long ways off. To keep from freaking out the normies. Everyone in AI should be working on ways to retrain people. It is the right thing to do. And I have seen technology that can do that. In Germany had a demo of tech that taught me to build an electrical motor. In real time on top of the motor. So I know that we can teach any human to do anything fast and without books, teachers, or classrooms. But so few people understand that. And fewer even want to fund a new kind of education. Requires mixed reality AI-driven glasses that are coming to market from Google later this year.
