@pteet1 Thank you so much Beth and everybody for your prayers for my dad. They took away his Tramodol for too long and his disease accelerated and now he’s at end stage years too early. Docs at the hospital said Tramodol is excellent for LBD but he was cut over CDC guidelines DEA threats

No I do not. I think of them as a pharmacist that compliment healthcare providers. Too many pharmacist is part of how we got to this place

@StopBadDocs I’m not restricted per se, but my pain contract does require I use the same pharmacy every time. I could change, but b/c of my current dose, even w/ 2 yrs of tapering, Walmart, CVS & Walgreens won’t fill for me. I’ve called them all. It’s rough out there.😐

@Wade6Jenn Ps. Jenn, r u able 2 use a different pharmacy? Or, are u restricted for any # of reasons? Any chance u asked ur pharmacy what coupons they can/would accept? There's gotta be a solution. It's hard enuf 4 us 2 make ends meet. Huh? I'm gonna keep thinking of ideas 4 u!

@StopBadDocs Really? I’ve never heard about mileage reimbursement! That would b great b/c my doc is 70 miles each way. Gas is right around 4$ a gallon in Sandiego county right now. I’ll do it if u tell me how, thanks!

@Wade6Jenn Oh, did u know u can get reimbursed for mileage to & from ur dr appts? Every little bit helps. Also, get a print out from ur pharmacy of ALL out of pocket costs to u & let me know when u have it. If u can't get ur meds covered then we gotta find ways to save u $ in other ways.

When I didn't have insurance I wrote to Perdue & others & they sent me an application & after a bit of time they got me the meds I needed for about $10 - $50/rx & got 1 of them for free.

@ThomasKlineMD This looks like "force of law" 100 MME limits without exceptions for non-cancer #chronicpain. I'd be HAPPY to know if I've got it wrong. I'm neither a doc nor a lawyer & certainly appreciate help from both in my advocacy.

I was only about 1/2 paid in to SS. It wasn’t too bad until my husband had the obligatory mid-life crisis. Things will hopefully get better when the court rules on support for the kids & I. The fun never ends, lol!😂

When I think about it..time I pay insurance premium..for a blue cross policy thats problematic at best..then the deductibles n copays...the gas driving out of town to doc...the pharmacy copays...hell its cutting my funds pretty good too.
