President Trump is absolutely right about one thing: America should lead the future in crypto. The United States should be the crypto capital of the world, not China. But the President also deserves to know exactly who is whispering in his ear right now. As I have been saying for a while now, many of the loudest voices pushing the CLARITY Act and other crypto legislation in Washington are not to be trusted. They are the same Democrat operatives, Biden staffers, and Obama-era hacks who spent years trying to put Trump in jail. Just look at who these companies are hiring. @coinbase stacked its advisory ranks with people tied to the Biden-Harris orbit, including Brian Armstrong @brian_armstrong and David Plouffe @davidplouffe. These are the same Leftist political networks that are still funding far-left socialist Democrats and the same Democrat political operatives who cheered on the regulatory assault against crypto during the Biden years. Now, suddenly, they’re presenting themselves as partners in President Trump’s crypto agenda… That should raise serious red flags. Check the FEC records like I have and you’ll see they are still donating to Democrats. President Trump’s instinct to bring innovation back to America is exactly right. But the Democrat crypto lobbyists crowding the White House crypto meetings are trying to destroy the America First movement. If crypto Democrats like Brian Armstrong were serious about getting the CLARITY Act across the finish line, he wouldn’t have sabotaged the bill when it was about to be voted on in the Senate earlier this year. Crypto leadership should come from people who actually support the President, not the same radical Left political class that has tried to keep Trump out of the White House for years. Like a coin, Brian Armstrong has two faces.

Arresting a journalist is a blatant attempt to intimidate and a further indicator of Trump’s authoritarianism. It goes against the most fundamental American values outlined in the First Amendment. Don Lemon has been on the ground in Minnesota like hundreds of others doing the vital work of covering Trump’s lawlessness and chaos. These charges should be dropped and he should be released.
