Did he attack you or something? I think your work is good, but this is misplaced. In this case, you are defending journals who charge thousands in APCs, not scientific integrity. His work spans multiplr fields and theoretical / experimental and wouldn’t get accepted for publication. Is someone supposed to pay thousands of dollars in APCs and spend 50 hours formatting for every academic technical paper they write or thought they have? I don’t think so.
