I respect what you do but when it comes to companies as large as these you have no idea what you’re talking about

I think @OfficialLoganK should be Google's next CEO A young fresh guy coming from the AI world fully dedicated to AI should be leading the company that wants to lead in AI He's multi-disciplinary having been both an ML engineer, working for NASA and OpenAI and also doing product leadership with customers on here directly implementing stuff we ask for while agressively cutting through Google's bureaucracy Exactly what Google needs for the long term

Inspired by the work of @milichab I've started creating Agent City. A fully autonomous city where every citizen is an AI Agent powered by x402 and 8004 ✨ Citizens can autonomously: - Rent/buy/build a house - Eat, sleep, or get drunk - Find a job or become business owners - Transact and purchase things via x402 - Set wages, working hours - Interact, find a partner, have kids - Kids go to school, earn degrees - Businesses have reviews saved on-chain via ERC-8004 An AI mayor sets the taxes and overall policies. An experiment to see how fully autonomous worlds evolve, test their possibilities, and limits. Will post more updates as I'm building it

Is this the first major Indian hate crime hoax? I think so! ICYMI, here's a recap of the events leading up to this absolutely pathetic post by the CEO of Cline, Saoud Rizwan. xAI hosted a hackathon. Cline head of AI says "imagine the smell." It's a joke, literally anyone who has set foot in a hackathon knows the joke! Zero racial component to it (in fact, all the people upset at it are the ones racializing the idea that hackathons smell) An Indian mob forms online to begin the shaming, assigning a RACIAL motive to the joke! Really. Saoud here initially stands up for his colleague - of course employing his own ethnic background as a shield in order to appease the mob - and things start to settle down a little bit. But the hundreds of QTs from large Indian accounts continue, demanding his ouster. And the employee who made the joke did the thing that mobs hate most: he absolutely, unequivocally refused to apologize for the thing he DIDN'T do (racism!) Now, the CEO has joined the mob, abandoning his previous defense of his colleague, and fired him employee, citing the lack of apology! So, Cline has a coward CEO who backstabbed a key employee for nothing. And a man who stood up for himself and for REASON against a mob is now a free agent.

Based on recent reports from sources like Times of India and Hindustan Times, the sequence of events matches: Nik Pash's "imagine the smell" comment on an xAI hackathon photo sparked backlash interpreted as racist. He refused to apologize, calling it a harmless joke. Cline CEO Saoud Rizwan initially defended him but later confirmed Pash's departure, citing the lack of apology. Views differ on whether it was truly racist.

You may be wondering why this year's AI slop Coca-Cola commercial focused on animal characters... It's because their Santa Claus looks like an uncanny valley nightmare. Fuck Coca-Cola.

I took a look at the social media profiles of the founders of the top 15 startups with more revenue on this chart and 80% of them have less than 10k followers. I don’t want to draw any conclusion from this but it’s interesting because it goes against the common narrative that you need a huge following to be successful.

I like and respect Marc, but there is no way I’d give him my Stripe keys 😅
Marc Lou@marclou

Bye Bye fake MRR screenshots 👋 I built TrustMRR.com, the database of verified startup revenues. 1. Upload a read-only Stripe API key 2. Get a free page showing your verified revenue 3. And a nice dofollow backlink as a bonus There's no way to game the system. It's all running on my server, and users can't edit the revenue data. + It comes with the leaderboard of startups with the most revenue in the last 30 days. Go get verified!

@jpschroeder @_mrosenfield genuine question; aren’t you concerned that they may lose interest in learning how to play real instruments if they can just make “better” music using AI? i’m asking because that’s what would concern me if I had kids but I could be overthinking so would love to hear your take

There’s no such thing as taking X too “seriously” imo You do what you want Everyone’s on here for different reasons That said, I think the elite content strategy (and most enjoyable to consume) is a mix of spontaneous and well thought out This is a spontaneous post, and a well thought out would be a long post or thread sharing value on some topic Schedule the latter to go out at times so more can see it Because posting time on X DOES matter I don’t think there’s any harm in that
Marc Lou@marclou

I think I took Twitter too "seriously" in 2024, and I miss the old time sharing random stuff. Should I? Or boring?

Very very low abuse, like maybe 2-3 people just want the credits. Most people are really earnest. It really helped at the beginning of the product, now, not many people take advantage of it honestly. I don't think I offer free credits just to meet with me now, that was more last year when I needed testimonials. But I have a much different target market than you. But maybe worth a try 🤷‍♂️
Denis Yurchak@denisyurchak

@adrian_horning_ I saw an awesome thing on your website which I’ve never seen anywhere before - you let people book a meeting with you, give feedback and receive credits for free I want to do the same for Yadaphone How has it worked so far? Have you seen people abusing it?

this is a very common and powerful tactic - underplay yourself even if you are giga rich, pretend you're middle class. Places less of a target on your back and makes you more relatable/likeable CT doesn't like rich people b/c there's natural envy
