I've felt the opposite. But could just be monorepos. I don't know if every package now needs a vite config to get tests to work again? used to have them at the root. But a root vite doesn't make sense as vp build just fails there. Be nice to have a guide or reference on the docs for how to hold vite+ in a monorepo

Been using Vite+ and it’s kinda wild how much mental overhead it removes.

the fact that you can't even check similarity without fully publishing is absurd.

npm's package name similarity validation for new packages is fucking ridiculous and should be killed

I want to be very upfront about Void being tightly coupled to Cloudflare. The lock-in is what makes the DX possible. If you don’t want the lock-in, then it’s not for you, and that’s fine! Vite will forever be platform agnostic - use it with Nitro v3, or Adonis - the choice is yours, and Void just gives you another option!

if you were having issues with the mcp get_screenshot in @paper try upgrading to the latest desktop version and using it again pushed some fixes to make it work great, let me know if you run into issues!

Why is @paper 320MB and when are they going to switch to Electrobun? our WGPU integration is shipping very soon. Paper could be *so much* smaller and *much more* performant and updates could be _as small as 4KB_

Hmmm. odd, yeah definitely remembering it being all the rage back in the day. here's a blog post about it blog.cloudflare.com/extending-the-…. But the whole idea about asset manifest, i don't think exists anymore. Maybe you're right, origin assets now longer stick around. #asset-retention" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">developers.cloudflare.com/pages/configur… Me personally, I use public,max-age=60,must-revalidate and a cloudflare-cache-control of public,max-age=604800. with immutable assets.

@slightlycode after a new deployment it's cached on the edge but not at origin anymore so if you either never downloaded it before, or cache bust with a query string, when loading it next you get a 404 definitely using pages

@stephenhaney @YoavCodes @paper 🚀 i'm a programmer, so design very little. But having a design tool handy that speaks "developer" is a big pull. Giving it a spin now with Amp (if it's even possible)

@slightlycode @YoavCodes @paper planning to do "view only" mode in Safari pretty soon... as the team gets bigger we'll be able to cover more bug surface. For now, with 6 people, it makes sense to focus on one browser (that's almost all of our traffic)
