Trans women keep telling me to just “take my pills” but as of now the only reason I would seriously consider taking estrogen again would be if there was no other way to prevent male pattern hair loss. Otherwise, I don’t think the benefits of feminization are worth the physical costs given I already grew moobs the first time and can achieve body hair loss through laser. Not to mention both patches and injections are annoying and being a lifelong medical patient does not appeal to me unless absolutely necessary. I was never convinced HRT made much difference to looking pretty and I don’t think nuking my sex drive is critical for my mental health either (quite the opposite.) IMO facial fat distribution from HRT is overrated and most mtf glow ups are mostly from beard removal, skincare, makeup, long hair, cosmetic procedures, and styling, etc.

Aaron making the idiotic argument of nature having a “purpose” at the individual level again. 🙄 Humans are social creatures. The requirement for every person to procreate doesn’t exist. Some adult humans not raising babies is a potential asset to early hominids and possibly even before that, homosexuality evolved because it’s either on the whole a net benefit or a non detriment. That’s why it basically doesn’t move in terms of percentage (ignoring the fashion for “LGBTQ” nonsense). It’s not a pathology because it doesn’t cause the organism (me!) a problem. It’s also not infertility because - I’m not. It’s a natural variation which WOULD be a problem if it affected everyone. But it doesn’t. And the reason you’ll never find a “gay gene” is because that would be far too vulnerable to a sudden outbreak of “gay”. No it’s a many pathway - a certain number of people will be gay. In social evolution terms - a certain… surplus number of people will be gay. Bees of course take this idea of social surplus to the ultimate level with only one member reproducing. It’s such a weak and immature argument it’s usually reserved for traditional “right wing” bigots. But even they only do it so the men can continue to claim control over women.
