The professionalism of the controllers even during a mass casualty incident is insane. I don't know how they keep their voices steady while witnessing a tragedy on their screens. Absolute heroes under pressure. This audio is going to be the most critical piece of evidence for the NTSB. Was it a communication breakdown or a technical failure? Someone clearly wasn't where they were supposed to be. Chills.

Some updated info on the #LaGuardia collision. According to preliminary reports and air traffic control audio from the incident: Initial Clearance: It appears Truck 1 was initially given clearance by a controller to cross Runway 4 at Taxiway D to respond to a separate emergency involving a United Airlines flight. The Conflict: At the same time, Air Canada Express Flight 8646 was on short final for landing on that same runway. The "Stop" Commands: As the controller realized the two were on a collision course, they were heard frantically shouting, "Stop, Truck 1. Stop!" approximately a dozen times. Controller Acknowledgment: Shortly after the impact, the same controller was recorded saying, "I messed up". There were 76 people on board the Air Canada Express flight (AC8646) at the time of the collision. The total count included: 72 passengers. 4 crew members, consisting of two pilots and two flight attendants. Casualty and Injury Breakdown Fatalities: Both pilots (the captain and first officer) were killed in the crash when the nose of the Bombardier CRJ-900 was destroyed upon impact with the ARFF vehicle. Injuries: At least 39 passengers and crew members from the aircraft were transported to local hospitals. Hospitalization Status: As of Monday morning, March 23, 2026, Port Authority Executive Director Kathryn Garcia confirmed that 32 of those hospitalized have been released, though several others remain in serious condition.

Today, accusations were made against one of my caseworkers — a dedicated public servant, Army veteran, and experienced member of my team. I have every reason to believe these allegations are unfounded.   It is worth noting that ICE has refused to respond to multiple letters I’ve sent about Camp East Montana regarding deaths, including a homicide; outbreaks of diseases including COVID-19, measles, and tuberculosis; waste, fraud, and abuse; a lack of legal representation or medical care; and so much more.   This administration has a history of engaging in intimidation tactics against Members of Congress as well as continuously attempting to obstruct our ability to provide oversight.   I stand proudly by the members of my team who have demonstrated nothing but dedication and integrity to serving our nation and our community.

The facility administrator discovered that Torres was passing a phone to multiple detainees and spoke to him; at that time, Torres admitted he was not an attorney and was visiting as a private citizen. After the fraudulent visit, officials reviewed past visitor logs and discovered Torres had repeatedly represented himself as a lawyer or said he was visiting for legal reasons. ICE records show that Torres has misrepresented himself at least 11 times.

New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie:   Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices.
