22/ AML cells dodge chemo by siphoning off cellular ATP to keep their mitochondria polarized—a survival trick of bioenergetically “sick” cells. Blocking F1-ATPase could hit this AML-specific weakness, and we are excited to try and translate this discovery to new therapies.
