You think parents just wake up and casually decide to put their babies in daycare? Most of the time, that decision comes after long nights, hard conversations and sometimes tears. Some parents go to work not to build wealth or chase luxury, but to keep the lights on, pay rent, and put food on the table. Putting a child in daycare does not make someone a “shitty parent.” It often means they are doing the best they can with what they have. Parenthood is already hard without strangers judging and reducing complex decisions to insults.

Turned it on… watched about two minutes… realized I don’t care about this at all. Turned it off. Got in bed with my wife. Read a book. Slept great. This morning: gym, clear head, ready for the week. We have agency. You don’t have to participate in every loud, manufactured conversation competing for your attention driven by people who don’t care about you. You can just turn it off.
