@MikeCollinsGA 2 Dem senators have now asked for the Senate to pay TSA workers by invoking unanimous consent. 2 Senate Republicans have blocked it. @CommunityNotes

This is what happens when Jon Ossoff doesn’t do his job. Two hours in line just to get through the airport. The democrats would rather play politics than fund the people keeping this country moving and secure. Georgia deserves a senator who shows up, gets things done, and doesn’t leave you standing in line like this.

Today I went to a chic coffee shop with my 3 children (I'm a latte addict personally). I walked in - and not even one person had a child and everyone was staring at us. I could sense the annoyance around us when my baby starting whimpering to come out of his stroller and my 4 year old was laughing just a little too loud. It wasn't imagined either - I could feel the negative energy around me. I'm noticing a lot of spaces are becoming very anti-child. It's not just restaurants at dinner any longer. It's everywhere - grocery stores, libraries, swimming pools, etc. because so many people don't have kids and don't want them (*ancestor cry*). It's like the presence of a baby or child is very off-putting for the childless - simply out of their own contempt. A society that hates children is a society with no future at all. It's a dead zone with soulless people only existing.

Graham Platner's got the grit to fight for what’s right on behalf of Maine’s working families—not billionaires and giant corporations. He’s inspired a grassroots movement to flip Maine, and I’m thrilled to endorse @grahamformaine for Senate.
Graham Platner for Senate@grahamformaine

🚨Endorsement Alert! 🚨 “People are excited to vote for someone who will actually fight for them. Not just nibble around the edges.” Thank you, Senator Warren. Together I look forward to taking on Wall Street and the billionaires waging a class war against the rest of us.

Couple comes in for their annual review. $2.8 million. Well invested. Solid Pension. Completely on track. I ask the question I ask everyone. "How is your daughter doing?" Mom's face changed first. Their daughter is 39. Hasn't asked for anything. Never complained. But she's been in the same apartment for six years. Daycare alone is $1,800 a month. Down payment feels impossible. Dad said "we always figured she'd get it eventually." I pulled up a simple chart. Statistically they live to 88. She inherits at 56. Maybe 60. At 60 her own retirement is eight years away. The money that could change everything at 39 arrives when her finish line is already close. Neither of them had ever seen it framed that way. The annual gift exclusion is $19,000 per parent per child. They can move $38,000 a year to her. No gift tax. No estate implications. Over ten years that's $380,000 transferred while they're healthy enough to watch it matter. Dad looked at his wife. "Why are we waiting?" Most families leave everything at death because nobody showed them the math of giving it while they're alive.

I seriously need some help here. My neighbor just put up this massive metal fence right along our property line and I’m honestly pretty upset about it. It completely changed the whole feel of my driveway and now it looks like I’m pulling into some kind of industrial corridor. I had no idea this was even happening until the thing was already built. It feels like my space just got boxed in overnight. What on earth can I do in a situation like this???

I just got off the phone with customer service with Comcast and the women helping me was American. She had to walk me through pairing a remote to the television. I am not a technical person and we had a few bloopers and laughs and I realized it was such a pleasant experience because it wasn’t some call center in India. This lady got my humor and I could understand everything she said. I can’t remember the last time I had such a great experience.

Roughly 46 percent of voters in Virginia vote Republican. Geographically, the vast majority of the state is conservative (see 2024 voting map). Yet, those on the right have zero representation in the U.S. Senate. In the U.S. House of Representatives, Republicans currently hold five of 11 seats, 45 percent. Under the proposed redistricting plan by Gov. Spanberger and Democrat legislators, Republicans would lose four of those seats. Democrats would control 10 of 11 House seats and both Senate seats. Is that fair? Know the facts as you cast your vote about the proposed redistricting.

I live in a Christian majority country with a deep Christian heritage. The cross appears in our emblems, flag, and our state symbols. Yet for the past month, media and politicians have spoken every single day about Ramadan - and not a word about Lent. Why is that?

🚨 JUST IN: Sen. @BernieMoreno has proposed the US Senate be HELD IN DC INDEFINITELY until DHS is re-opened "Let's take our paychecks away! Let's prevent us from flying home!" "Even that means right through Easter, we DO NOT leave... and we should LOSE PAY every day that goes by until we fund the whole thing." "Because then, we could work this out! "Forget DC — let's not even leave this CHAMBER until we get this done!"

Went to the doctor the other week My wife made the appointment She said I "look tired" I said I am tired She said "not normal tired. Weird tired." I don't know what that means but I went anyway Nice office Fish tank in the lobby Third one this year Signed in at 1:48pm My appointment was at 2:00pm 12 minutes early Because I was raised to believe that matters The receptionist said "the doctor is running a little behind" I said "how far behind" She said "about 45 minutes" I said "so my 2:00 appointment is actually a 2:45 appointment" She said "we appreciate your patience" I said "I haven't shown any yet" My wife grabbed my arm There was a sign behind the desk "Missed appointments without 24-hour notice will incur a $75 fee" The doctor was 45 minutes late Nobody offered me $75 We sat down CNN was playing on mute with subtitles Running a segment about New York City redesigning its trash cans Cost the city $4 million I looked at my wife She said "don't start" Seven magazines on the table All from 2019 I read an article about supply chain disruptions that have since been resolved Very informative My wife was on her phone She looked up and said "WebMD says you might be dehydrated" I said "so we're paying $1,800 for a second opinion on WebMD" She went back to her phone At 2:54pm they called my name A nurse walked me to a room Took my blood pressure Took my temperature Typed for three minutes Then said "the doctor will be right in" I sat on the paper The paper ripped immediately I looked at the wall There was a diagram of a colon Not how I planned to spend my Tuesday 3:19pm The doctor walked in 1 hour and 19 minutes after my scheduled appointment He was looking at his phone Shook my hand without making eye contact Sat down and read my chart for about 30 seconds While I sat there watching him learn who I was He said "so what brings you in today" I said "my wife thinks I look weird tired" He said "what does that mean" I said "I was hoping you'd tell me" He said "when's the last time you had bloodwork done" I said "2019 maybe" He said "we should run a full panel" I said "fine" He asked if I was sleeping well I said "I have three kids and a golden retriever who thinks 3am is a reasonable time to need outside" He said "are you drinking enough water" I said "probably not" He said "that might be it" I said "you think the reason I look weird tired is because I don't drink enough water" He said "dehydration is more common than people think" I said "I've been here over an hour and sat on a piece of paper that ripped to be told to drink water" He said "we'll know more when the bloodwork comes back" I said "when will that be" He said "3 to 5 business days" I said "business days" He said "yes" I said "my blood has business days" He didn't respond Then he said "any other concerns" I said "several. But none you can bill for." He shook my hand again Still no eye contact Total face time with the doctor: 6 minutes Total time in the building: 1 hour and 37 minutes I was examined for approximately 6% of the time I was present I've fired people for better numbers than that My wife was in the waiting room She asked how it went I said "I need to drink water" She said "I told you that last week" I said "yes but now it's a medical opinion so it costs $1,800" She didn't laugh In the car she said "at least now you know you're fine" I said "I was fine when I walked in. I just didn't have the receipt to prove it." She didn't disagree The bloodwork came back four business days later Everything was normal The doctor's office sent a message through their portal It said "results look great. Continue to stay hydrated and follow up in 12 months." Follow up in 12 months To be told to drink water again $1,800 1 hour and 37 minutes 6 minutes of face time One ripped piece of paper And the same advice my wife gave me for free Plz fix. Thx. Illegals are voting. Illegals are getting free food. Illegals are getting free childcare. Illegals are getting free education. Illegals are getting free tax credits. Illegals are getting free healthcare. Illegals are getting free housing assistance. Illegals are getting free legal representation. Illegals are getting free mental health services. Illegals are getting free college tuition in over a dozen states. It is the most insane scam ever perpetrated on the American people.
