Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is no joke and was one of the defining injures of the Global War on Terror.
Blast pressure and the brain do not get along. Memory issues, headaches, sleep disorders, GI issues will follow many of these service members for the rest of their lives.
As unfortunate as it is, I am happy we are finally at a point where they are being properly recognized as injuries of war.

@EODHappyCaptain To this day, I cannot remember peoples names randomly (randomly they come back). It’s not just new people, but people I’ve known 25-30 years, or I work with everyday. It took a CT scan to figure out what was going on.

when i was in elementary school in the 2000s, the kids that read harry potter got a LOT of attention & encouragement from teachers for reading such a big book!!

Because young men are starved so much for masculine role models that they will cling to any semblance of that, even if it’s from idiots like Tate and the bloviating nonsense from these “Manosphere” types.
You could easily counter this by promoting people who exhibit healthy masculine traits (like Luke from Outdoor Boys) and having healthy examples of masculinity in media, but the current hierarchy doesn’t wish to do that because it views ALL masculinity as toxic, so these guys are able to get their claws into men who feel ignored and unwanted.
The hubris of modern mentality is the only thing stopping society from relegating these types of opportunists to the dregs where they belong, but humble pie is extremely bitter and everyone wants to continue eating the sugar of their own lies.

Like all art at this point, it is becoming extremely inaccessible for the young audience, both in terms of what’s being made and how expensive it is. No Cool Math Games, no Club Penguin, no Spyro, no Crash, etc. only Nintendo is still focused on younger audiences.

People straight out of collage who know the job market has basically abandoned them for cheap labour is joining the one organization still offering them viable, fast track careers and motivation to remove those who even people in government openly, gleefully say they want replacing them in the job market. It's a real mystery why so many young people sign up when elected officials say "who is going to do (so and so) jobs" they never say "our youth" because they've abandoned them.
Why is this always the playbook. Absolutely strangle young peoples opportunities, tell them they have no future, they have an entire planet and AI to contend with in local job markets and you do not care what happens to them as long as you get cheaper roofers. Don't even attempt offering them any viable solution to struggles you caused them and then when your enemy is the only one offering them one, you go "Heh, always knew the youth were fascists in waiting"
