THANK YOU!!!!! Where did the athletic ability go? Clutch hitting in the 8th and 9th inning? Starting pitching that goes 8 or 9 innings? Base stealing-hell just good base running and SPEED?!? Sac bunts-moving runners over late in a game? Where’s Tony Gwynn? Rod Carew? Wade Boggs? Ichiro? Those guys wouldn’t exist in today’s ridiculous HR or K “launch angle” game! The game has been dying with the youth of America for YEARS and now is losing the core fanbase as well with this ridiculous product we’ve had to digest for the last 7-10 years. Bring back Small Ball and athleticism…this shit dreadful!!!

The problem with this is that in a few weeks Disney is releasing a live action Moana remake that will be a beat-for-beat rehash of the original, just uglier. And that’ll probably make a billion dollars. Why does Supergirl fail but that gets a pass?

It's gonna make $200m or so, if that.
It's definitely not perfect but its not THIS bad - deserves a LOT better. A film of this quality should be making $300m - $325m in my view.

With the very unfortunate critical and box office reception that #supergirl is receiving (unfairly). I am actually shocked that nobody is even given Gunn, Craig, Ana, and DC Studios any short of respectable credit for actually wanting to try something different with Supergirl like I mean we didn't know if it was going to be a hit or not but, the fact they went forward with it shows me that they are willing and capable of taking swings and meanwhile this may mean that the 'non a tier characters) won't get any movies while the A tier (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman) do that still doesn't mean they wont tell stories with them elsewhere (HBO Max)

Don’t remember this movie getting the level of vitriol and hatred Supergirl is getting and it’s genuinely one of the worst superhero movies. Marvel could get a piece of poo, make a movie out of it & some would say it was the best thing ever. DC held to impossible standards.

This time around, I'm fully on the side of the owners in the impending MLB Labor Dispute. The sport needs a salary cap, a salary floor, and an end to deferred contracts — or, at the very least, a cap on the % of a team's payroll that can be deferred.
