@DanClarkSports If he grew up in this era, probably still be great. Just plug him in and it’s like back to the future, of course he’d struggle
English

@DanClarkSports With the disadvantages come the advantages. Modern strength training, diet, field conditions, baseballs (dead ball), balls were brown by the end of the game. Opportunity to focus on baseball instead of carrying a job in the offseason. He was a freak of the time
English

@Califdeformia @DanClarkSports Coast to coast travel😂 how about bus travel and shitty hotel rooms. Terrible field conditions and just a couple baseballs per game.
English

@DanClarkSports I've been criticized for saying this same thing. Plus, he didn't the coast to coast travel. He dominated during his time, but there's no way he's turning on a 100 mph fastball with that 40+ ounce bat!
English

@coolhanmatt @CoachMarcusHill Because it’s not public knowledge already? 😂 GTFOH with your fake story
English

@CoachMarcusHill I'm not telling you that! I'd be telling you exactly who he is. Get real
English

If you think youre good enough to play college baseball you should be absolutely dominating high school baseball. Not like 1-3 with an rbi single every other game. Not like like 4er thru 6ip. DOMINATING. Like it should be easy for you. Some of you have never even made all conference talking about getting committed like bro you’re not even the best player in your town. Get real guy there’s gonna be a pissed off D1 transfer dying for your spot that already knows how to do college and you think you’re gonna win because you hit .325 once at a small high school. You better hope somebody does you a favor and tells you the truth before it’s too late. You’re lucky you’re even getting this information for free some of you are getting charged 3k a summer and don’t even get that truth.
English

@CoachMarcusHill Ha I played D1 and you’re not wrong at all. My pops coached gave hitting and pitching lessons and told almost every parent “if you’re doing this because you think it will get your kid a scholarship you may as well save up the money you’re paying me and team fees and pay yourself”
English

@brennanrooks @TheEXECUTlONER_ We had college coaches say to hit a guy but never in LL or travel ball
English

@TheEXECUTlONER_ I had coaches back in the day that instructed this sort of move. Never the dads, just the old heads that played real ball who went on to coach regional travel squads. Never understood it, and never will.
English

This pitcher in a youth baseball game threw at this batter intentionally.
The fact that this would be a for sure ejection in MLB and it wasn’t for a youth baseball game is wild.
Every coach and umpire failed miserably here.💯
Nobody said a word!? Yikes! 🤯
What would you do if you were the coach of that batter’s team, or better yet, the parent of the batter? Let boys be boys?
English

@TheEXECUTlONER_ How bout you just throw 2 strikes??? Umpire did not signal to the pitcher time was out the batter just assumed it. Boneheaded by the pitcher to not just dial in a couple strikes
English

@ChrisCuomo But I thought the Dems don’t gerrymander?
English

If you only care when it hurts your side...you don't care.
Cernovich@Cernovich
51% of voters can take away 100% of the rights of 49% of the voters. Democracy.
English

@citizen_ee @EMAmbrosias @DefiantLs When you’re spending OPM you don’t look for the best deal or efficiencies. Case in point the California high speed rail project. You don’t seem to be an American so you can look it up
English

@citizen_ee @EMAmbrosias @DefiantLs Even in your article it talks about how the private sector will trim its workforce to maximize profit, the government is the opposite. So it flies in the face of government run orgs saving money over private sector. The problem with govt is that they’re spending our money
English

@citizen_ee @EMAmbrosias @DefiantLs Nice article. Only if it weren’t put together with “qualitative” data and produced by activists at Vivic research. Did you even look up what they do there before posting this. You may simply believe the government knows and does best, but at least use a better study
English

@WhatWouldLibsDo @WifeFinance @MatrixMysteries That would only get you to less than $500k total. She’s a grifter. I get her point, but she is exaggerating for clicks which ruins her credibility.
English

@Smittee Not one actual baseball fan thought they had a inside the park HR on that play
English

Blue Jays fans thinking they tied the World Series on an inside-the-park HR will never not be funny
Kalshi Sports@KalshiSports
What's the loudest crowd pop in MLB History?

@alphafox There’s a taqueria with a C rating near my house that’s known for this
English

@NFL_DovKleiman The coach is clearly being racist towards sanders and I’m going to have to hear all the bitching for another season
English

@mcsquared34 Because some of us understand the EE/ER relationship
English

@DrAlmarielao I think we need a new social safety net. How about...
If you apply for an advertised job that you're (over) qualified for and get denied, any student loans you've accrued the denying company has to pay for 180 days.
Ghost jobs as data collection would vanish overnight.

A girl sits in her car scrolling through her email, heart sinking as she reads, “We’ve decided to move forward with other candidates.” It was for a cashier position at Target. She exhales in disbelief; she has a bachelor’s degree *and* a master’s, yet she can’t even land a job at the register. Applications, interviews, rejections… over and over again. She whispers, “What was all that hard work for?”
This is the reality many people are quietly facing; overqualified, underemployed, and emotionally drained. The job market can feel confusing and unfair, where education doesn’t always translate into opportunity.
Have you ever felt stuck between being “too qualified” and still not being given a chance? How did you navigate it?
