Btw, the fact that a MINISTER would suggest this indicates a massive decline in the intellectual ability of our ministers and politicians.
A minister in government should at least understand how our democracy operates, and under what principles.

The people decide the particulars to what is fair as a group and take into account each perspective.
I don’t believe in a ‘leader’ per se, I believe that working people as a unit deserve a fairer, more enjoyable and fulfilling life that profit incentives and so called ‘free markets’ don’t allow for, and since the workers are the backbone of society they should be able to make these decisions, not those who have more capital that extract the wealth from their labour.

NEW: Five men have been stabbed in a series of anti-Muslim attacks as a bare-chested man was seen roaming the streets of Edinburgh with a large weapon.

The attacks began near a mosque in the west of the city, where two men were injured, on Friday night.

Owning tools doesn’t make you a capitalist.
A carpenter who buys his own tools and sells the things he makes with his own labor is a self-employed worker.
That’s existed for centuries before capitalism.
He’s not exploiting wage labor or extracting surplus value from employees.
Capitalism is when a tiny percentage of people owns factories, supply chains, land and most people have to sell their labor to them just to eat.
