Monetary policy should remain tight until the 11% additional inflation we've had since January 2020 above the 2% trendline is erased. There's no point in having an inflation target if you're not going to adhere to it. The Fed should not be cutting rates at all this year.

@noahforkansas In 1934 & 38 the inflation adjusted price for gasoline was $4.63. There have been many subsequent periods w/inflation adjusted prices much higher than $3.59 (which is much lower than nat'l avg).
