.@NYC_DOT deserves praise for a big connector w/ 2-way Lafayette. But they ALSO deserve praise for smaller connectors made w/ less fanfare. I rode this new-ish 1 block extension of BK's Eastern Pkway that would feed naturally to the @PitkinAvenue connector I pitched in 2015!

@nyc311 Can you not just refile it? I'm more interested in a fix than feedback. It's dangerous to cross the street w/o any pedestrian signal. Pretty straightforward repair is needed. My past experience is these are usually done urgently. @NYC_DOT @CMRitaJoseph @eanorv @nypublicservant

@subtle116 @NYC_DOT That wasn’t the DOT! See the green bottle cap looking thing that’s embedded in the fresh asphalt? That’s an ‘A-tag’ used to identify who repaired a utility cut. Green is plumbing related.

@sam_d_1995 @Boenau More and more I think we ought to normalize retesting and simply require it of everh driver every decade. Roads change. Cars change. No way a single test 30/40/50 years ago is enough to keep you up to date.

A vehicle narrowly missed pedestrians and other vehicles on the street as it flew through traffic before crashing into scaffolding outside a restaurant in White Plains, New York. Police said the only person in the vehicle was the driver, an 80-year-old man who is in stable condition at a hospital. No other injuries were reported.
