This island was in news just last month. May be a week before America attacked Iran! 🔺ICJ tells UK to give the island to Mauritius 🔺Maldives say it’s theirs 🔺UK had leased it USA which they used as their base- so Trump says he not happy with the development.

Iran fired two ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia this week. That’s a tiny British-American dot in the Indian Ocean that most people couldn’t find on a map, which is precisely why it matters. The range was 4,000 kilometers. Four thousand. To put that in perspective, 4,000 kilometers from Tehran gets you to Rome. Athens. Cairo. Southern Europe is well within reach. London and Paris are further, but don’t sleep too well either. This is not what Tehran told anyone their missiles could do. So either they’ve been lying, or the intelligence community has been spectacularly wrong. Possibly both. One missile failed mid-flight, which is the kind of thing that happens when you build intercontinental weapons in a country that can’t keep the lights on. The other was shot down by a U.S. warship with an SM-3 interceptor, which Trump has already counted as winning the war. For the third time. Now here’s the bit nobody wants to say out loud: the strike came hours after Britain’s Keir Starmer gave Washington permission to use Diego Garcia to bomb Iranian missile sites. So Iran bombed the base we lent them. With a missile nobody knew they had. The war just acquired a completely new dimension. And the man in the White House is busy declaring victory. Iran decides when this stops. Not him. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

Enough of this sh*t. There's a limit to our patience. I demand @airindia @AirIndiaX @flyspicejet @IndiGo6E to hire local staff, native to the state who knows the official language of the land. Customer support doesn't require any special skill that you'd not find in the local candidates. A customer facing person must know #Marathi in Maharashtra, #Kannada in Karnataka and so on. Don't hire outsiders especially northies & recruit them in our states. I hereby request @CMOMaharashtra @AAI_Official @mohol_murlidhar @AshwiniVaishnaw to ensure that every customer facing job in Maharashtra is given to a person who knows #Marathi. Language should be the basic prerequisite of the transfers as well as the direct recruitment in this state. @mnsadhikrut @RajThackeray @maratha5250 @Marathiwarrior7 @marathi_bola @MarathiRojgar @AbhyasKendra @abpmajhatv @zee24taasnews @TV9Marathi @mumbaitak

In India, the craze for imported coffee is real and so is the irony behind it. India grows some of the world’s most unique coffee including the legendary Monsooned Malabar that Europe has prized for centuries. We export 70-80% of our total production (including our best Arabica & Monsooned beans). Monsooned Malabar story is in fact pure accidental genius: In the 1700-1800s, Indian beans shipped to Europe in wooden boats got soaked & aged by monsoon winds for months. Europeans went crazy for the mellow, low-acid result. India later turned that accident into a deliberate GI-protected process. Now, a chunk of it lands in Switzerland & Germany (India exported coffee worth ~$73M to Switzerland alone in recent yrs). European companies roast, blend, freeze-dry, package it under fancy brands, & ship the finished product back to us. We pay 400-500% markup for the privilege of drinking international qualit” while our farmers get farm-gate prices. So we invented the very thing Europe still uses… then we export it & import the fancy jar.

"Khan Sir exposed BJP." 🔥 "BJP is a washing machine." 🤣🤣 In Karnataka, Congress leader Anand Singh was booked in 16 SERIOUS cases related to illegal mining and violations of forest laws. When the case intensified, he joined the BJP and the party made him Forest Minister.

@UpdatesChennai As it stands today, Vande Bharat can go up to ~220 kmph. Limitation of tracks today. Merely upgrading the tracks and removing the "stops" will get a similar effect, without the costly HSR. ofc, that is not the path that would be taken though !
