@MagpieMediaX I don’t say this about a lot of Spurs squad but he’s actually good

@yiddogusdos @HotspurCaIIum Call me crazy (which I am), but I Think we beat Newcastle, Fulham, Palace and Forest

@simonyemane @NathanAClark No offense I wouldn't give Thomas Frank a cent (would've sacked him after Chelsea)

In my opinion, there is an opportunity for this to be a significant blessing, but it would require Spurs to be smart and active in their pursuit of a (early/) peak age LB, likely from the continent.

🚨UPDATE Johan Lange is pushing #Tottenham to move for #Monaco winger Maghnes #Akliouche. Monaco are open to a sale but would need a replacement if Tottenham meet their valuation. A deal is believed to be possible at around £55m, though #Spurs are still trying to negotiate a lower fee. [@SB8308715342770 | #THFC]🥇

@yiddogusdos @Kish_P14 a bit too many Akilouche quotes coming out today 👀 are us 3 allowed to be excited yet?

#Tottenham should spend the £100m on Wharton.
This is not just a personal bias but a pragmatic option for the whole club.
The Glasner era at Palace is over. The players know he is leaving and are unmotivated.
£100m is about £25m overpay but Wharton will be worth the money based on a few factors. [ 🧵1/8 ]

@gloryglorytott People saying Wharton but there is zero chance of him joining us when just about every club in Europe will be lining up

🚨⚪️: Tottenham have joined the race to sign 25-year-old Norwegian striker Jørgen Strand Larsen. 🇳🇴👀
- Wolves are willing to let the player leave in the summer for the right price.

Due to dozens of DMs asking me to continue tweeting about Tottenham, I cannot ignore the request of my friends.
So I will be tweeting the 1st half of the game today*.
If my friends have to endure the pain of Tottenham, I will continue to. Even if it is the end of me.
Provided I have to get to The Etihad after that.

Embarsssing club. Embarsssing players. Embarsssing coach. That is me done watching Tottenham for the foreseeable future.

@simonyemane @mxddersthfc @ben_bowman_ In that case maybe you should have just not brought it up at all rather than going public? Be the bigger person

I said multiple times in the summer before Ange was sacked that I was conflicted, I said I think it's the right thing to do to move on from him, but I also wouldn't be upset if he was given another term. I thought Frank was the right type of appointment, as did many people and I'm incredibly disappointed with how it's panned out, but I'm not having being dug out like this 😂
There was plenty of mud slinging going round on both sides, people that wanted Ange to stay and people that wanted him to go. There's no guarantee we'd be in a better position under Ange right now. Just because Frank is drastically underperforming, it doesn't make getting rid of Ange wrong.
It's very easy to sit on your high horse now and come directly for me and say I told you so because it's not gone right, trying to patronise my opinion even though I've held my hands up, as have others who wanted Frank, several times over the last few months and say "look, I think I got this wrong". Got no shame in that whatsoever, so you can try and say "GOTCHA!" all you like, but we're all in the same boat, supporting the same club just wanting things to be better.
I think your opinions as someone who makes content are held to account a lot more, and I understand why, but I'm not trying to tell anyone how to feel, I'm just giving my opinion as any fan does. It's very easy to go back and stick the knife in when someone puts themselves out there, but everyone gets stuff wrong. I don't think someone like Simon would have liked people doing this to him if we'd stuck with Ange and things went on to be a disaster, so it's a two way street.
Anyway, hopefully things get better and we can all just be happy again!
