My global leaders ranking:

Notable that the Trump admin systematically goes after those closest to it. Denmark thought it was a model ally, then faced Greenland. UK has done more than any other European country to allow access for Iran mil ops & down drones over Gulf, then attacked over Falkland islands.

@tonyannett I’ve spent time in all of Scandinavia. Everything is more expensive, less disposable income, etc. Their poor might have better access to things but much less economic mobility. The US kills in every objective measure outside of self reported happiness. Beautiful places though!

Sweden has ordered what will be the most capable Baltic Sea assistance #icebreaker ever built. The new icebreaker is based on our #ARC130S design. More information: railotech.fi/news/sweden-or…

Germany plans to build Europe’s strongest military force by 2039.

ZELENSKYY to Rheinmetall CEO Papperger: Drones have replaced your German tanks — our Ukrainian drones. And we're already producing our Ukrainian drones together with Germany, but with different German company. Sorry. In other words, we're partners with Germans, but you can't monopolize Ukraine’s relations with Germany solely through your own production. We still have some joint projects with Rheinmetall today, but this was a wrong move on his part regarding competition. Competition must be fair and honest. Ukraine is breaking the old system. Yes, and I believe statement by director of Rheinmetall is actually recognition of this reality. It is recognition of Ukrainian competition on world stage — worthy competition. In terms of quality, quantity, and price, we're number one in the world.

Preserve our history. Protect our drystone walls. Remigration.

“Russia’s ailing economy has failed to recover even as rising oil prices during the war in the Middle East have boosted the Kremlin’s depleted coffers, according to Sweden’s military intelligence chief. Thomas Nilsson, head of Sweden’s Military Intelligence and Security Service, told the FT that Russia would need prices for Urals crude, its main blend of oil, to remain above $100 a barrel for a year to close its budget deficit, and for significantly longer than that to smooth over its other economic problems… Nilsson said…the Russian central bank was underestimating inflation, which it believed was closer to the 15 per cent key interest rate than the official 5.86 per cent. Sweden agreed with the BND, Germany’s foreign intelligence agency, that Russia is understating its budget deficit by $30 bn, and had also noticed some financial indicators that could point to a future banking crisis, Nilsson added.” @ChristopherJM @maxseddon ft.com/content/04a9d0…

Drone warfare has reached such a level that many fighters have lost hope of escaping or resisting. For example, the final strike on the barracks is terrifying.
