I also can't stop thinking about how this might be the greatest missed opportunity in marketing history if Apple doesn't have a billboard of these saying "Shot on iPhone" lol
NASA astronauts have been allowed to use their phones in space, and Commander Reid Wiseman and Mission Specialist Christina Koch uploaded these photos shot on an iPhone 17 Pro Max SELFIE camera

@quotesdaily100 Real airline pilot here. Some of the things you said are nonsense or utter speculation, and some aren't followed by all.
English

THINGS PILOTS KNOW THAT PASSENGERS DON'T
1. Turbulence has never brought down a modern commercial aircraft.
2. The safest seats on a plane are toward the rear.
3. Cabin air is cleaner than the air in most office buildings.
4. Pilots are legally required to eat different meals in case of food poisoning.
5. Most flights carry more fuel than officially needed fear of fuel shortage is never real.
6. Autopilot flies more than 90% of every flight, but pilots are always monitoring.
7. Lightning strikes planes regularly,it's designed for it.
8. The brace position actually works. It's not a myth.
9. Phones in airplane mode don't affect navigation,it's a network congestion rule, not a safety one.
10. Dawn and dusk are statistically the safest times to fly.
11. The crew dims cabin lights before landing at night so your eyes adjust immediately in case of evacuation not for atmosphere.

@matteopelleg How if my country hasn't officially launched it while Chinese EVs take over massively

@rycoux @coalmine21 @HardisonDan @max_grossman @RiotSupport please for the love of Yoru, if his TP/Gatecrash is going to be so time limited, would you consider pausing the timer on pre-rounds so you can place them before barriers down and then it begins the timer? Thanks!
English

@tirii_f1 You don't need to be convinced, drivers already talk about this. Yes you cannot look straight ahead but to the sides to get references so you know when to brake etc. Seems pretty wild to go full throttle at 320kph knowing you might hit someone that just spun or broke down
English

@SenWarren Now tell us your net worth (Bezos doesn't have $222 bi, his stocks and assets are evaluated) and we'll tell you how to you should spend your money. I'll wait.
English

@BYDAutoBrasil Todo mundo chorando querendo a 80 mil. Façam o financiamento ou comprem usado e parem de chorar. Chora pro seu presidente que cobra 100% de imposto em importação enquanto na gringa é de 6% a 20% só de imposto. Gaslighting do caramba.

@bishara They are sitting on the IP by a limited time. They want more revenue before it expires. It's basic math economy really.

@CarMadSA @Scuderiascoop Lmao sport is for the fans? Sure bud and the sky is green right? Get some candy on your way out
English

@Scuderiascoop Fans do not want turbos.
The sport is for fhe fans. When do the fans get what they want?
Go back to full N/A engines!!
English

🚨| JUST IN: Talks are already underway for F1’s next engine rules
Manufacturers want a 2.4L turbo V8 running on sustainable fuel.
It would keep turbos (unlike the 2006–2013 naturally aspirated V8s) due to manufacturer demand.

@bugsandfishes So everyone needs to be a decorator now? I'm sorry but if you needed to fly a plane and needed to ask for a machine to help I would tell you my god people are so incapable of piloting a plane so basic every kid played flight simulator why are you not ashamed of yourself?
English

It absolutely horrifies me that people are so incapable of this kind of incredibly basic creativity and decision making that they need to ask a machine to do it for them, like, my god, are you not ashamed to admit this in public???

We had a spare room at the back of our place doing absolutely nothing for years I asked Gemini what to do with it and implemented the suggestions. I don’t love everything about the room (open to changes!) but now we use the room every day.
English

@vrexec I wanna live around decent humans, not noisy humans. I am noise free. Why can't you be noise free as well?
English

Something I don’t understand is how you can live in an apartment and complain about noise from your neighbors.
We have two kids under 10 and they’re always making noise. Older neighbors sometimes complain or bang on the floor or ceiling.
If you don’t like noise, then why are you living in a city or an apartment?
Go live in the middle of nowhere. Go live in a farm town in a big field. You chose the convenience of urban life… you have to accept that you’re living around other humans.
Get over it.
English

@EMizzle202 @D162Michele Enlighten us please what a state sponsored espionage on millions of people would actually accomplish? Why are you so important for your commute home? I am well aware of privacy safeguards, but what exactly do you mean? There's not a strong argument to be made for average people.
English

@D162Michele I don’t think this person has any idea what kind of data can be gathered from you. In a bulk surveillance with not so complicated software you can influence, extort, blackmail etc. Someone else said it, sit this one out.
English

I never really understood this fear from westerners about China stealing their data.
Is Xi Jinping going to find out what you had for dinner? Or steal that $100 you have in your bank account?

English

@D162Michele In my region of the world, Chinese cars are taking by storm. Naysayers end up with only one comment: China is spying on you. Yeah like other car brands don't "spy". And what will they do with that data? Oh Mr. Jellybean goes from work to home, loves taco bell! Data Goldmine!
English

@ShaneDernelley @DunkenKBliths What does BODILY HAIR has to do with a CAR? What are your smoking?
English

@DunkenKBliths Ah no. There are reports of women losing their hair and ppl feeling very lethargic while driving. There are also other symptoms. That’s a no for me and most common sense ppl. You must be a salesman as the majority of the world have said no thanks to ev’s

@CryptoLava @BuzzPatterson The same issues would occur, people are slow with their luggage and want all the time in the world to get seated and their stuff organized.
English

@BuzzPatterson If they were really interested in speeding up the boarding process then they would board the plane from the rear seats first and first class would board last.
English

Tips from an airline pilot:
Don’t crowd the entrance at the gate. Board with your zone, otherwise it slows everything down.
Likewise, when you get to your seat, move into your row to stow your bags. Again, it slows everything down if you don’t, especially for those sitting in the back.
Don’t drink the water or coffee. The water tanks only get cleaned out occasionally. Bring your water and coffee onboard.
The tones you hear are just the crew communicating with each other.
Use your AirPods or headphones as much as you can. It’ll make the flight infinitely quieter.
Exit rows can be a great seat with extra legroom but not all exit rows are created equal. The rows immediately adjacent to the emergency exits on most jets don’t recline.
Turbulence is normal, expected, completely safe, and all aircraft are built for it. It’s not in any way, shape, or form, dangerous. It may be uncomfortable but that’s the worst that can happen.
Aircraft malfunctions and emergencies happen from time to time. Trust me, the crews have been trained ad infinitum on it all. Over and over again.
Bottom line, we want to get home to our families and friends too.
Any questions?
Pilots want to get home too….
English

@sleepnomorelfg @BuzzPatterson Some airports aren't built for it. Add in the fact premium customers pay to board first and on the best seats and do the least amount of walking. More revenue and returning customers. It's the lay of the land.
English

@BuzzPatterson Someone already asked, but why not board the plane starting with the rear? It seems to cause a traffic jam doing the opposite.
English

@BuzzPatterson Some tones like on airbus are automatic like gear up or down.
If water is bottled you can drink it.
I feel you exaggerated a bit some parts.
A better tip is board last. Everyone's seated, empty jetway, you only lose your bin space.
And airlines knows your connection.
