@RestoredTruth8@HwsEleutheroi@ashafovaloff Thats a red herring. Im referring to "whom I created for my glory"
What God does with us is for his glory. Its not for the glory of man.
Posts like this always amuse me because BYU fans will use dates when referencing their win streak since it sounds more impressive
Utah won 9 games in 10 yrs
BYU has won 3 games in 6yrs
We’re not the same. Utah fans were able to say they’ve won 9 YEARS in a row. BYU fans can’t
Older generations say “we all struggled in our 20s.”
No, you didn’t.
You didn’t pay $2,200 for rent and $7 for eggs.
You didn’t graduate into $50K student debt and $0 job security.
Gen Z isn’t dramatic.
They’re drowning.
Lowes needs to pull one more board so I can finish the horizontal portion of the steps, I’ll have to get some more fascia from the supply house, and these darn steps will finally be done. I am much happier with the new width.
“Downgraded” to a 2,500 square foot home last year when we moved to Boise
But it’s been a life upgrade
Have never been happier
CANNOT recommend a smaller, functional living footprint highly enough
We’ve done the suburban 5 bedroom, massive zoysia grass front yard thing previously, and it just eats away at your time and mental energy
Give me a view, light, and location over a McMansion with mulched flowerbeds any day
It simplifies life and unclutters the mind
@ick_real My Grandma Warner's name was Elthear Annie Jex Warner.
Her friends growing up called her Annie.
My Grandpa refused to call her anything but Elthear.
I feel so dumb after leaving Christmasism. Decades lost on fantasy and contradictory doctrine that they no longer even support. Hours spent on Christmas lights, tens of thousands of dollars spent on "presents” and “hot chocolate” that I'll never gain benefit from.
I've got a lot of catching up to do.
The bad news: I do have a cavity
The good news: I like my new dentist and his assistant. The assistant talked to me about miracles and it helped me forget about my nerves
@ThoughtfulSaint : Infinite regress as never taught in any official church publication
Hymn #284 exists:
"Do you think that you could ever,
Through all eternity,
Find out the generation
Where Gods began to be?"
