For example: If I reply @levelsio with a slop and he flags me as spam, then the price for replying slop for him and his entire social graph will increase. so we use the social graph as a shield

here is a better way to avoid spam replies @nikitabier 1) make creating accounts harder 2) put a dynamic price on replies . it starts for free, but using clues from your social graph (follows/reports/likes/replies), it can increase if you are posting slop

@ManmohitSandhu I'm going to implement a Chrome extension to filter posts I cannot answer. That was such a lazy approach to fix spams. They didn't even thought about second-order effects

❌ DON’T SHOW ME A POST IF I CAN’T REPLY TO IT! ❌ If a user has restricted me to reply to their post based on my region or my follower status, then X should not show me their posts on my timeline. What’s the point of seeing posts you can’t reply to? It’s similar to an account that has blocked me. I can view their posts but can’t interact with them. Or am I missing something here? There can be 100 ways to counter bots, this is not the smartest one.

@theepicmap People keep reasoning about this using historical references.They forget about satellite images, thermal cameras, drones/AI targeting. US Battlefield advantage vs Iran grew asymmetrically. Iran missile stockpile is being depleted fast and no more missiles are being produced

Good thing Elon said this is paused for now, makes no sense at all. For example I write in English mainly about my region (Argentina etc), for an international audience so the bulk of my followers are based outside of my region. Not everything is American politics.

@mgubrud @MaMoMVPY you can come up with whatever term you want, but that is about all you can control. You cannot control its meaning -- that depends on how people perceive and use it. "AGI" sounds generic and vague, so it is no surprise the term has drifted from what you originally meant

@MaMoMVPY Well, Lars, I INVENTED THE TERM and I say we have achieved AGI. Current models perform at roughly high-human level in command of language and general knowledge, but work thousands of times faster than us. Still some major deficiencies remain but they're falling fast.
