It is extraordinary to see a senior member of Congress have no knowledge of a Supreme Court decision that directly affects the legislative process. Sure, Loper Bright is a bigger deal for authorizations/regulations than for appropriations/budget, but still.

Strang also laid out many steps the Trump administration has taken to lower energy prices for Americans, but we have the opportunity to do MUCH MORE – like passing permitting reform and cutting red tape.

Why pause a broken law when you can end it?
The Jones Act was suspended for another 90 days. But Congress should just finish the job and repeal it altogether.
That means lower shipping costs and lower prices for Americans.
