@LelenaPeacock Every freaking morning. Rarely do I get more than an hour of sleep straight. On this chair about 23 hours a day. Thankfully it tilts about 45°. Not enough.

I was given ESIs for back pain when the FDA warning says not to use them near the Spine (I wasn't told this, I wasn't given a safety data sheet by Doc)

More chemicals means more things can go wrong. Which is why OxyContin has a longer list of “side effects” than Percocet. These things happen to people who are vulnerable. Happened to me. Percocet wouldn’t have.

Which made me pretty much stop eating. Which made me skin and bones. Interestingly, though, one of the great things about IR oxycodone is that it makes me stronger. Unless I’ve also taken OxyContin.

It made me stronger. I understand; because it didn't help you, it was totally the wrong medicine for you. I'm hoping we can each get medication that helps us.

I’m still alive, and improving, with 2/3 of the oxycodone I could’ve continued taking. No one who is weak/disabled should be prescribed anything that causes weakness (OxyContin).

I remember OxyContin headaches. Can’t remember other bad things, but there were more. I begged several times for them to replace my Oxy with Perc. Even swap. Nothing strange about that. But they wouldn’t do it until I begged for 40 mg instead of 60.

This is known. Which IR oxycodone and Perc do not contain. OxyContin is oxycodone plus poison. ER has zero benefits over IR. It’s an unnecessary risk. For nothing.

I never took it for long for my Arach (I took morphine Sulphate) but there are TONS of COPs for whom Oxycontin has worked wonderfully for... Many people metabolize and react differently to the same meds.

Much/most of my body’s damage is from arachnoiditis (pain), but neither it nor MS was about to kill me when I started taking OxyContin. 10 months later, I feel like I was nearly dead. From OxyContin. I hope that makes sense.

I wonder how many other people actually do die when this happens to them, but listed cause is [insert disease].

Which hurt less. That’s enough of a reason to continue such treatment, but there are many more reasons. Took 3 years.

The broken leg didn’t teach what I needed to know. I couldn’t have learned without another nasty injury. With another injury, I was forced to take IR oxy for even longer.
