If this happens solar, wind, hydro and other renewables will be equal to natural gas as the biggest source of electricity in the US. Far ahead of coal or any other source. Solar capacity grew 34% last year. Battery storage added 50%. Coal production declined substantially. All renewables combined are now 26% of US electricity. And what state is leading the charge?? Texas - a deep Republican state. So much for Trump. He can speak and act against renewables. He can not uninvent solar panels or wind blades.
