ADDITIONALLY, if the toilet starts to leak and you can't see it because it runs up under the linoleum, it WILL rot a wooden subfloor.

Not only does it just LOOK better, but not doing so can lead to any water that gets around the base going underneath the linoleum and ruining it far more quickly.

This post about a toilet has upset a weird amount of people. 😂 1. Yes, I have pulled and reset a toilet. ONCE by myself, but many, many more times as a helper. 2. PULL YOUR DAMN TOILET TO LAY YOUR FLOOR DOWN, YOU HEATHEN.

Y'all: oh God, it's so EXPENSIVE, I'm OFFENDED. Also y'all: oh God, it's so CHEAP, I'm OFFENDED. Please pick a struggle.

This is the supply line. The clean water comes from a pipe in the wall and goes through that hose to the nozzle specifically sized for one of these hoses to fill the back of the toilet/the toilet bowl. When you flush, the waste goes down the hole in the bottom of the base which goes to a larger waste pipe in the floor which is an entirely different pipe than the one that holds clean water. You would have to figure out a way to screw that little white piece onto the bottom of the toilet to put waste water in the supply line. That's all I'm saying. 🤷🏻‍♀️
