Reminded of this image after once again being woken up by someone using WhatsApp. Why does this god awful app ignore DND settings?

Want to make money from manufacturing? I have an idea: Finance moulds. Every manufacturer knows this problem. A good mould can cost lakhs. A great mould can cost crores. But banks don't care. They'll happily give a loan against a building. They rarely understand tooling. So even good businesses with orders in hand struggle to grow. A simple solution: * Factory pays 30% upfront * Investor pays the rest * Factory pays back EMI's over 2 years * Mould stays in the investor's name until fully paid Just like a hire-purchase model. The factory gets the mould today. The investor earns a return. India gets more products, more factories, and more jobs. Everyone wins. If someone builds this, I will be the first customer. I genuinely believe this could help 1000s of manufacturers grow faster. Any HNIs, family offices, or investors interested in this? Send me a DM.

@DavidMcNeill3 Hong Kong, for example, calls its permanent residency “Right of Abode”. Which in HK’s case is an actually right. Japan’s is more like a “permission to stay with a right to not have to renew your visa forever.”

I’ve always called it “eijuken” (right to permanent residency) and never heard “eiju kyoka” (permission to permanently reside) till the minister said it. Is this a legal shift or a clarification?

Tough times reveal who was swimming naked. The first Indian exporter casualty just hit. A competitor was slashing prices none of us could understand. Clients left us for them. We let them go. Because the numbers did not make sense. And things that do not make sense - never last. We already knew their domestic position was weak. They owed the market heavily. Their strategy was simple: - Dump into exports at a loss - Generate cash flow - Buy time Then war started and global markets turned - double whammy. Domestic vendors are now stuck with huge unpaid amounts. Promoters have disappeared overnight. And our buyers who switched are now calling us back: "Can you help us recover our advances? He has absconded." And this is just the beginning. I can smell more blood bath coming. Market has repeatedly taught us: Healthy competition makes everyone better. Selling below cost to survive only ends in disaster. And it does not just destroy you - it takes others down with you. The ones sitting on strong cash will ride this wave. The rest will get cleaned out. Stay honest with your numbers. Because the market always finds out. It is only a matter of time.

The SpaceX IPO is coming, and it will be a doozy, a futuristic company (spaceships, satellites and AI), a founder who will keep things interesting (Musk) and a price tag that may make it the most highly priced IPO of all time. bit.ly/3OYYWPp
