@DJ_Nite_Nite @rethygy @ACrawfordson @TheStudyofWar The gullibility meter is going off the charts. Ukraine is a sovereign country that was invaded in 2014, full invasion in 2022. No one wants to be ruled by Russia, even the Russians. But they do not have free elections. To be able to choose this.

NEW: Russia's economy and war effort is coming under increasing strain, which will pose increasingly acute challenges to Russian President Vladimir Putin's ability to sustain the war over the long term. (1/3)

@RayzDaMa2757 @TheStudyofWar And his own country. Heading towards 1m people are casualties, ruble at $1.10. Reserves depleted. The economy will take 20 years to recover.

@Stucashx @terrychristian It benefits the economy, which increases govt and societal money, which relieves things like tax on you. Plus less inflation, cheaper goods

So everything now points towards the UK rejoining the EU. When we do rejoin which tangible benefit of brexit will you leave voters miss the most ? If you are unable to answer the specific question asked don't bother commenting as you'll be blocked for trolling 😉

@Stucashx @terrychristian EU had huge benefits for anyone importing exporting goods. Leaving it has really made a huge dent in the British economy. This is no longer disputed by anyone other than the sovereignty gang.

@terrychristian Not being a "net-contributor" cash cow for a bloated and corrupt, foreign bureaucracy... I'll miss that the most.

If you post that you move to blue sky (same user name as here) a ton of Eløn bots pop up in your mentions... either insulting you or telling you to leave, or saying Blue Sky is trash... and all these bots tell me: twitter is dying.

@objectivegreen @tb_nature @ClimateDefiance As they did when the Sahara desertified. Did you know that climate change is cited as one of the reasons the mayan & Khmer civilisations collapsed 1000 & 600 years ago respectively. Yes we are affecting the climate but the climate will change anyway.

This is horrific. This is obscene. The World Meteorological Organization just dropped a major new report. 2024 will be the warmest year on record. This is a "red alert." We break down this new study here: (1/13) 🧵

@muffmasterh @tb_nature @ClimateDefiance Your opinion tells me that you just don't get it. Yes floods and fires occur naturally. But the world is getting far more of them. The increased warmth is melting ice caps, increased evaporation and rainfall, drier periods too. More extremes. The weather patterns are changing

@muffmasterh @tb_nature @ClimateDefiance No and it appears that you're not ever going to get this. Climate change is insidious. We are boiling a frog. So it is impossible to show the incremental change, except to people who understand or want to understand data. Instead the new extremes are broadcast.

@muffmasterh @tb_nature @ClimateDefiance Big jump there. Highlighting the effects of cc through visible examples shows how life is changing. It's a cumulative thing, not isolated instances, but you cannot demonstrate cumulation.

Elon Musk is facing a class action lawsuit out of Texas, where voters are claiming they got played. Turns out, that so-called "random" $1 million giveaway wasn’t random at all—winners were reportedly handpicked. And here’s the kicker: everyone who entered handed over their personal information, only for it to allegedly end up fueling Musk’s political agenda and personal interests. Looks like they’re coming after him for misleading them while collecting their data under false pretenses.

@Michell33650674 Hmm, while I agree that, as with most things these days, social media was influential, these are the times we live in. Dems failed to win the argument on mostly the economy ie people not having enough money. Suggest Dems focus on winning that argument and drop the identity stuff

I'm going to REPEAT this. Stop saying TRUMP WON. He DIDN'T. We need to FOCUS on getting this election INVESTIGATED rather than lamenting over a Trump Presidency. HE FUCKING CHEATED WITH THE HELP OF STARLINK AND RUSSIA. Are you just going to ACCEPT that? THIS IS NOT OVER!

@objectivegreen @uzilcorp2007 @shashj Why would he? The US has a strategic interest to stay in that region, not only to protect our allies but also to protect Guam and Hawaii. He can't leave a binding treaty without congressional approval.
