Probably the same way we always do: brief shock, myth-making, political capture, then normalization. The interesting question isn’t how we’d feel it’s what constraints they’d actually operate under. Communication, energy exchange, logistics, incentives. If they can’t interact reproducibly within shared physical limits, they become a story. If they can, they become another actor in the system and the mystique evaporates fast.
