There’s absolutely a logical intersection between it being Earth Day for all of us, & in the City of Toronto, the most performative Mayor in North America has greenlit wasting close to 280,000 gallons of the City’s water to melt down an ice structure that would have melted using zero gallons by Friday afternoon. Note: my numbers were verified by a former GTA fire captain. If I can convince him to be on the air with me, I will.

@moretransitso Trim and flash weld jointed rails into ribbon, replace 1/2 of the ties, and clean the ballast. The whole line to London could be fixed for less than $50M but the indecision as to whether this is still a VIA route or GO is fully annexing it means nothings’s been done in a decade!

Did you know that in 1979, the trip between Stratford and Kitchener only took 30 minutes? The track quality is very poor on this segment currently, some cheap and easy upgrades should be made to cut travel times by 22 minutes.

The clueless governor is acting like this wasn’t signed in 2018 and adjusted in 2023. All other host cities are charging fan normal rates. Sherrill and NJ Transit are thinking about charging $100 (normally $12.90) and there is no tailgating. Save your money. Stream it. MetLife sucks anyway…you’re not missing anything. Don’t continue to put up with this crap from her. Philly isn’t charging any additional fees to travel.

@the_transit_guy Since much of the cost is labor, the biggest advantage will be frequency. Instead of a 40 seat bus every 20 minutes, run a 10 seat bus every 5 minutes.
