Bigger issue for me was that I have rarely ever actually driven a Tesla long term. I had FSD v10 ever since I got my first Tesla back in 09/2021. They should have given FSD to rental companies it would probably help them sell subs or cars. If I have to drive manually either way, I’m getting a cheap rental

I remember when Hertz added an entire fleet of Tesla Model 3’s and it was a complete disaster. Hertz customers wasn’t interested, they wanted reliable and easy refueling gas vehicles.

.@Hertz did Teslas wrong and ultimately reduced its fleet to almost zero in 2024. Since then, global @Tesla ownership is up 68%.
I think it’s time for another rental company to pick up Teslas and market them with FSD.
Tesla owners who travel would likely be loyal to any brand that reliably rents them.

Thank you for this! I was looking through all the graphs and thought it was only 1.5ish hours of charging over a few of stops. Drive a couple of hours and stop basically. Seems pretty practical. I wish there was somewhere other than Turo to rent a @cybertruck for 8+ days for a multi state road trip.

Starting my trek to FL. This will be the longest trip to date in the 📐. I’ve made this drive before but they were in ICE vehicles 🤮and I was always EXHAUSTED at the end of it.
FSD makes these drives much easier!

@elonmusk I want to rent a Tesla to round trip Az to California. It takes more than a test drive to really get FSD I expect. No crossing state lines to do this? Not helpful as a week rental, why would I stay in Az and not go visit family? Is this still in force and why?
