I’m disgusted by the @Budget at @charlestonairport there are 25 people in line waiting and the 1 person working just left for lunch. Unacceptable. There is another worker in the office taking a sweet time eating lunch

@budget, I reserved a normal car, but gave me an electric one. When I realized, they offered to trade it out so I drove an hour and no car. Now I’m not driving the rental but will still return it below the charging level, and @budget plans to charge me. Total BS

@Budget I booked my entire trip based on guidance from your agent that I’d be able to pick up my car after the desk closes in Eugene. Now being told no one will wait for my flight to land and I’ll be stranded at the airport for six hours until the desk reopens in the morning.

Unbelievable! @Budget customer support said they had no way to contact a franchisee for my receipt and then hung up on me. I Googled the ATL location directly and a terrific local agent took care of it in less than 3 minutes! Stop blaming franchises for your terrible support!

@Budget Cheated at sfo last night by jero**. Asked to change name in reservation to use partners card as he lied and said we could not on my reservation so he changed reservation and upped price by 350. “I got you taken care of”. Yes he did. Well done. Literally same car

Used @Budget to move to AZ from TX and I don’t think the experience could have been worse… delays for no reason, making me hunt for the equipment myself, and nobody would talk to me long enough to get anything done. I’d say do not use them if you want a seamless move

@Budget Called three different times and got three different answers. I was quoted late fees ranging from $50 to $200 for the same situation. Terrible customer service and no consistency. First and last time renting with Budget. Confirmation Number: 219773971.

@discovercarscom @Budget @Avis @GoAvisBudget I prepaid €860.29 for a car in Málaga (booking D014575076). I arrived on time with a valid licence, ID and payment cards. The car was never handed over — and nobody will refund me. Here’s what happened 🧵 Budget’s own stamped paperwork says the booking was “cancelled for improper use of the vehicle” — a car I was never handed. You can’t misuse a vehicle you never received. I only stated ordinary business + personal use, which no rental contract prohibits. Meanwhile @discovercarscom, who took the €860.29, first blamed my payment card, then closed the case. Two different excuses, neither valid — and still no refund for a service that was never delivered. The money is sitting with the intermediary. I’ve now opened a chargeback with my bank and filed formal complaints with @consumoresponde (Junta de Andalucía) and @eccspain (Centro Europeo del Consumidor) for non-delivery of a fully prepaid service and wrongful refusal to refund. All I’m asking for is the €860.29 back — the amount I prepaid for a car I never received. @discovercarscom @Budget @Avis @GoAvisBudget: refund it and stop frauding consumers assuming they can’t defend themselves.

Rented a car through @Costco at @Budget . After all the up charges, the first car smelled like vomit. Second car was scratched up w/ dirty stained interior, bad windshield wipers & squishy brakes. Yes, its july, but it rained & was foggy and the road twisty. @Budget didnt GAF 🖕🏼
