They signed a new deal last year to extend for another 7 years, meaning current deal will expire in 2032, making it 30 years of sponsorship, the longest. T-Mobile is really big in Germany and across the world. With a brand value of $85.3 billion, it is the most valuable telecommunications brand in the world and the most valuable corporate brand in Europe. In fact, Bayern director describes the partnership as, the most valuable brand in Germany and the most successful club in Germany. This partnership and new deal is beyond the jersey logo, it involves technology and digitalisation as Telekom provides high-speed 5G and Wi-Fi at Allianz Arena, we know how bad network service can be in stadiums, not Allianz Arena. The partnership also involves the development of digital fan experiences, entertainment offerings (e.g., via MagentaTV), and innovative stadium tech for visitors. There is fan engagement and media, expanded rights like social media, player activations, naming/ advertising for friendlies, content on Bayern TV, and more. There is also Youth, eSports, and basketball in this deal. Most importantly, there is CSR, like joint campaigns on diversity, tolerance, inclusion, anti-racism ("Red against Racism"), "No hate speech," etc. This new deal is also worth €65m per year, which falls in the top 10 clubs with valuable sponsors.
