correct me if I’m wrong, but Dave Chapelle’s “trans jokes” weren’t really jokes but a weird self-pitying monologue tacked onto the end of sets, sort of like how Dice would close with blues standards. I’m not really sure what is being “weaponized,” when that was always the intent.
