The era of robotic, off-brand avatars is about to end. I custom made this AI actor for @NotionHQ using a beta version of @MadeWithCapsule (coming soon). Here’s the actor prompt I used: “Middle-Eastern. Product Marketer. Age 26. Calm demeanor with short curly black hair and hazel eyes. Wears a beige turtleneck sweater." Then I paired the actor with a custom, branded location using this prompt: "An industrial loft, white walls, intimate setting, trendy couch and chair, no screens, natural and authentic. Notion is a modern, design-driven brand reimagining work with a flexible, elegant system for today’s creators." Finally, AI generated videos that actually usable for use cases like product demos, explainers, personalized sales presentations and educational content.

Prediction: for enterprise companies, I think AI video is going to replace every blog post, white paper, sales deck, training manual and support article in existence. Why we’re building a video editor for work: There are dozens of video editing tools made for consumers, prosumers and pros. Yet these tools have virtually no adoption inside large companies. Despite the growing demand for video, only 1 in 1000 employees will use a video editing tool at work. Turns out the main reason for this is that big companies care a lot about design and collaboration. And while most video editing tools are reasonably good at editing, they are terrible at motion design and even worse at collaboration. Capsule's mission is to solve this and in the process 200x the number of people who can use a video editing tool at work—just as PowerPoint did for presentations, Canva did for graphic design, and Figma did for product design. Using Capsule is so easy that any novice employee can do it, but it produces on-brand videos like a professional editing tool. And it runs natively in the browser where large teams can collaborate on videos for the first time. Creative and brand teams love Capsule because it frees them to work on the stuff they are good at: high-production value content, while enabling teams who need more straightforward, quick-turnaround videos to produce them on their own in a controlled way. There is still so much to build, but we're excited to hit the V1 milestone and can't wait to share what's coming over the next few quarters and beyond.
