Hey @InstantPot , I'm still hoping you'll tell me why the manual for the Instant Pot Pro Pluss says your appliances shouldn't be used by people with reduced sensory abilities - people like me.

.@InstantPot it continues, “close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children and these individuals.“ Again, I would like to know why.

@InstantPot according to your user manual for the Instant Pot Pro Plus, “This appliance is not intended to be used by… persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.” Can you please explain why you wrote this?

I pay @lyft $300 a month for Lyft Pass. I take multiple rides a day because, as a blind person, the public transportation takes 6 times as long. And yet, despite that dedication, they release an iOS update where the request Lyft button cannot be seen by VoiceOver. WHY?! @asklyft

@rlawyer @corbb @lyft @AskLyft Per customer service, I deleted the app and re-installed from app store. Still busted. Paid for an Uber in, which is especially galling since I pay for Lyft Pass.

@corbb @lyft @AskLyft Which update is this? The latest update I have does not have this problem and actually made several #a11y improvements including fixing the custom tip feature. If there is a newer one that breaks things, shame on @Lyft. If not, updating again may actually help.

This makes me sad. @lyft, my family depends on you to get to and from work, my son’s school, and errands. Accessibility is not a feature; it’s a civil right and needs your urgent attention. #a11y #a11yfail @asklyft

@SaraBareilles Weak men are a problem. Foolish men, cold men, stupid men—they suck. "Blind" men like me, though, want to be allies. I know you are using the word "blind" artistically, but it's hard when blind isn't ever used in a positive manner. Can we fix this together, please?

I love York Peppermint Patties. I cannot think of a more environmentally friendly and creative use for old tooth paste.

a11Y folks: remember back when Amazon disabled Alexa in the app if a user had VO active? I'm curious if anyone has videos or screenshots of that.
