Good call! I can’t think of a better working example of Hasan’s game than this. He claims he’s being shunned by the party, but Pete Buttigieg’s team has reached out to appear on his show and gotten turned down. Then Hasan goes to the press and maligns him, calling him a centrist and saying the party fears him. So the guy who’s M4All Who Want It is becoming the mainstream position with progressives like AOC and El-Sayed is too centrist? The one who wants a billionaire tax? Who proposed reforming the Supreme Court before anyone else? Who wants a national service program to build communities? Who spearheaded rebuilding working class infrastructure? Made air travel cheaper and safer for working class families? The guy who wants to reform the senate? Not merely that, but the idea that Pete is somehow a shill of the party is laughable! He’s successful precisely because he rises above the establishment, advocates for real things, and captures people’s attention including independents and center right Republicans. In poll after poll he’s the most popular active politician in America across the spectrum, and his influence is many times greater than Hasan’s. Maybe Hasan would be served well to have Pete on if he wants to go mainstream and talk to middle America instead of just teenagers and other rich influencers and journalists. Does @PeteButtigieg scare @hasanthehun for some reason? Is he afraid he’s out of his depth? Is he still carrying petty grudges for his friends (people with positions ostensibly higher than Pete’s) Pete beat on the terms of their own rules? Or is he aware Pete’s far from what he says he is since he literally said he doesn’t want him on to give him exposure? I am very curious!

I've never returned to "Harry Potter" since I read them in Vietnamese as a kid, but we should ask why no children's literature in my lifetime has been as popular & successful as this series. I was there during the height of "Twilight" mania for example, nobody cares about it now.

I had a SAHM so what I see as an adult is that most women have to have two jobs, being mom and having an actual job. If you want to do this in current year (and even the 90s) your husband basically has to have an award winning career.
