Nearly two years on, and we’re still waiting for @AAI_Official to start work on Kolkata Airport’s expansion. 🙄 Mind you, this is an authority that took around 7 years to build a new ATC tower, only for operations to be delayed because it was missing emergency exits! 😵‍💫

There is massive difference in quality of service. The only reason why the govt. is blocking privatisation is due to labour unions.

@tathagata2 No. It's all about economics. European careers to Kolkata will not be able to do turnaround in a day. They cannot maintain a daily schedule. But of course most flights to south east asia should be there.. but then the airport will need to be privatized or Greenfield new airport.

My Passport renewal was sent for police verification to @MumbaiPolice some 8-9 days back. I received a message last week that police will visit my address to verify in the next 3-4 days. No signs or update after that. The status is not visible on the Mumbai Police website too. @MumbaiPolice please help.
