He has a significant conflict of interest with the single company allowed to provide Board Certification in Texas. He is a sitting member of their Board of Directors.

@brianeharrison If the TMB Chairman is aware that he has a pro-abortionist on his board and has helped keep it secret from the people and the legislature then he too must go. Anyone with a modicum of integrity would immediately resign and apologize to the people for this egregious deception.

Had an echocardiogram this morning. I was masked, as was the echo tech. She had the sniffles/ was clearing her throat throat. Several points: 1) She ideally should’ve stayed home from work - but in the real world, that’s not always a choice for people. This further underscores the need for masking in healthcare settings when respiratory diseases are circulating. 2) I was all the more appreciative for the double masking in close quarters. It isn’t just about the vulnerable protecting themselves. It takes two to make a thing go right. 3) Did she have Covid? It actually doesn’t matter. Regardless it was likely some sort of virus that I especially don’t want to get before Christmas. And remember – I was there for an echocardiogram. The consequences of an infection transmitted in a healthcare setting are MUCH higher. 4) This isn’t just about protecting me. I could’ve been asymptomatic and transmitted something to her and/ or the other patients she was caring for today. Moral of the story? Whether you believe in “mandates” or not masking up in healthcare facilities when respiratory viruses are circulating is just plain good sense and good care. 😷👍🏽
