If CMS is going to add more bullshit drugs onto the MFP/MTF program, they gotta step up the turnaround time that they reimburse us. Ozempic is going on the 1st of the year and at this point we're looking at an $800 loss/Rx for that one drug until the refund check comes. You do 10 Rx's/day thats 8k we gotta eat for a few weeks while our wholesalers want to get paid. Thats just for 1 drug. No business can operate with that much loss of cash flow. What a fucking duct-tape ghetto solution to this fucking mess.

Tomorrow would be Cole’s 25th birthday. Instead, Wisconsin families are still waiting while the Senate ends its session without even calling SB203 for a vote. Delayed by the Assembly, ignored by the Senate. Pharmacies close, patients suffer. PBM greed keeps winning.

Just filled a long list of meds for a patient recently diagnosed with (most likely) terminal cancer. Among their med list were: #180 Oxycodone 5mg #15 methadone 5mg #30 dronabinol 5mg All highly controlled drugs, all paid less than my wholesale cost to acquire them. Patient has also met all out of pocket expenses for the year, so their copays are now $0 across the board for all medications. Do you know how difficult it is to have a conversation about being paid under cost for medications (that this patient needs to have a decent quality of life) for everything they are going through? PBM’s don’t care. They aren’t the ones having to look these patients in the eye to tell them the truth. All they do is lie to keep their corrupt gravy train rolling down the tracks.

@CareDenied @sterlingkoonce If my pharmacy committed one of these fines, I would be banned from ever taking Medicaid or Medicare again. And other plans would use that to not allow me to get any insurance contracts.

Love how it states we can’t talk about or disclose reimbursement rates. Even though during Medicare Open Enrollment on Medicare.gov anyone can literally have access what each individual pharmacy near them is getting paid for any drug compared to another pharmacy. Simply mind blowing stuff from CVS Care-Less.
