If the opposition in Parliament were to vote against the CAB3, then that will effectively kill the Amendment. Zanu PF does not have 2/3 majority in the Senate. It is critically important that the opposition in Parliament understands its duty to the People.

@adv_fulcrum Have you ever noticed Adv. that quite a number of our Zimbabwean worshippers genuinely believe that Jerusalem is actually in heaven. ? The song is soulful though. Our sincere condoences.

Yesterday, May 26, 2026, I went for my comprehensive bi-annual medical checkup. We thank & salute The Most High because I have been given a clean bill of health. In fact, my medical team said that my bones are like those of a 34 year old man.😂😂 Actually, I feel as young as someone who was born in 1992...😉 #Nyikaidoko

Sadly, l have no tears to shed for Linda. We stood with her when she was persecuted by Zanu Pf back then, Mrs Ngarivhume and l, looked after her family when she was in prison. My party Transform Zimbabwe supported her in court. In teturn when she was released,

Sad to learn of the sudden death of Linda Tsungirirai Masarira. She was a fearless fighter for democracy and never feared speaking her mind. We had a great brother-sister relationship. I will personally miss her. Good bye Mkoma Dougie's "problem child"😭😭😭

Mwonzora's @DMwonzora dead political party doesn't have a single MP in parliament but wants to lecture honorable members on how to vote. When he voted for the amendment of judges' extension of term of office, did they use a secret vote? Stop this double standard, VaMwonzora. My advice is that this is a huge opportunity for you to rebuild your political party, and I hope you will win in the 2030 election.

@BaShonaBaShona Our demand for a secret ballot is well founded in logic. Shall we suppress our rights and what we know so that you dont feel lectured to?

@DMwonzora Yes, you do have rights, but you cannot lecture others. When you had your time in Parliament, you did exercise by voting openly.

A Constitutional bill of this kind must recieve a Parliamentary vote of 2/3 majority first before it goes to Referrendum. At this stage the MDC is concentrating on the Parliamentary vote. The Referrendum issue is still to come. We are just going sequentally.

Yesterday I wrote to the Hon. Speaker of Parliament to request that the voting by MPs on CAB3 be by secret ballot. This follows violence meted on opponents of the Bill during the public hearings. No one will lose anything if voting is by secret ballot.

It turns out that it was not editorial fiction, my brother. Nelson Chamisa did actually give the interview to the Daily News, which recorded it. After I and many others challenged the Daily News, it has now released part of the recording and says it will soon upload the full interview. Ironically, the Daily News actually published only the milder comments from him in the original story. It now turns out that he went much further and directly attacked people by name. In this audio, you can hear him criticising Jameson Timba for leading people against Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3. This is why transparency matters in both journalism and politics. When there is a dispute over what was said, evidence must speak for itself. Now the serious question that anybody opposed to the violation of the Constitution is asking is this: why is Nelson Chamisa attacking people who are fighting against Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3? And why did he go onto his timeline two days ago and claim that the Daily News story was fiction and that he never said those things, when the audio now shows that he actually said far more than what was originally published? The emerging evidence now raises serious credibility and political questions. If he disagreed with those opposing Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3, he had every right to say so openly. But denying the interview entirely, only for recorded audio to emerge later, is what is now deepening public concern and confusion. In politics, credibility matters. Once leaders begin denying things that are later proven to be true, people naturally begin questioning what else they may not be telling the public honestly.
My Energy , My Choice!@mopao_tg

@daddyhope He said it's editorial fiction and also castigated manufacturing of stories. I think in this case he did justice, but only that he didn't use the words we were looking for...Like pa CAB#3 anotaura ka one isu tichida everyday.

The Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops Council has trashed Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 in its entirety and appealed to MPs to reject it when they vote on its adoption. The Catholic Church which is by far the biggest in Zimbabwe reminded MPs through its submissions to the August House of May 12, 2026 that the Constitution is not a mere legal instrument but a national covenant born out of the blood of the liberation struggle and the 2013 national referendum and cannot be desecrated willy-nilly at the whims of individuals. The hallmark of the intended amendments, the Bishops lamented is to weaken democracy, respect for human dignity, justice, accountability, confidence in public institutions. They also noted with grave concern that the amendments are intended to concentrate power in the hands of a few by weakening the pillars of the State; Parliament, Judiciary. First Question from @MacBelts to President of MDC @MacBelts @TitusTaffy @DMwonzora @zimbabweyauya @Marcie4LOC “We’re hearing reports that demonstrations are being restricted or blocked. Can you walk us through what’s actually happening on the ground? And how are these restrictions affecting your ability to mobilise people around this issue? Are you able to hear us clearly? Voice of Host 🎤🎙️ President of MDC SD Mwonzora replies: We are not going to sit back and allow such a critical process to be reduced to a show of hands in Parliament. This matter requires a secret ballot — anything less compromises accountability and democratic integrity. We are prepared to challenge this in court if necessary. Let’s be clear about what is at stake: If the vote is confined to Members of Parliament: - In places like Epworth, only a handful of individuals decide for hundreds of thousands - In Harare, just a few dozen decide for millions - Nationally, around 350 people would effectively determine leadership for over 16 million citizens That is not democracy — that is disenfranchisement. There are also worrying reports suggesting that some opposition figures support this amendment. If these claims are inaccurate, they must be corrected urgently. Silence will be interpreted as endorsement. Amendment No. 3 does not serve the people. It weakens democratic participation and undermines citizens’ rights. This must be challenged — legally, politically, and publicly. #TruthOverPower
