In 1963, a year after Uganda's independence, two young boys Henry Nakisali, and Rodney Lobo forged a lifelong friendship at Namilyango College. They dominated the 1968 Caltex Cup, Uganda's premier schools rugby showdown then, and witnessed the birth of modern Ugandan Rugby.

Uganda must be shocked and embarrassed in equal measures. 30 days ago it bought 20% of KPLC at billions of Kenya Shillings. Then today the CEO of the company it invested so much of Uganda's public funds is spending the night in a cold police cell. This is the tragedy of wishing away corruption and a damning indictment on Ugandan Government for not doing proper due diligence.
