I recently did a Claude workshop with all my employees (including my VA's) for my different companies to get them up to speed. Gave them paid plans. Wild how in 2 weeks they've been able to 5-10x their output and are finding a lot of different edge cases in making themselves more efficient while feeling less burn out. Claude Cowork for redundant tasks has eliminated a lot of the mundane, highly repetitive shit that they hate. The key was getting them to understand how to set goals with it, focus on high leverage tasks and connecting it with all the other tools they use like Notion, Canva, Google Calendar, etc. If you are using it, teach your team how to use it.

On one end, the Anthropic team is a massive user of AI to write code (80%+ of all code deployed is written by Claude Code). They ship amazingly fast. On the other hand, seeing these beyond terrible reliability numbers suggests there might be a downside to all this speed:

@AlexEngineerAI I can certainly relate to this. I’ve started setting a finish time for myself. It’s hard not to send that “last prompt” though.

AI automation creates a dangerous productivity flywheel. I've been shipping 5x faster with AI over the last few months. The speed boost is incredible and I'm finally getting a handle on the workflow. But the mental fatigue is real. When you're self-employed, it's impossible to draw the line at the end of the day. Every feature is just a few prompts away from completion. Don't get me wrong, I already worked too much before AI, but now it's so easy to say "just one more prompt" and boom it's 2AM. The real competitive advantage doesn't go to whoever ships fastest. It goes to builders who master execution velocity without burning out. Discipline is the new technical skill.

The entire development would be off-grid, yet built with high-end luxury products. I’m envisioning about 30 parcels, each 2–5 acres, with shared amenities like fruit trees. Everything would be managed in-house to keep ownership simple.
