The company has collected $28.8M of NYC funds in FY 26 so far, $44.6M in FY 25 and $37.5M in FY24.

Agree. It's important to note that it's not just the HPC requirements but also the excess power required for the commercial/residential zoning that surrounds it. With aggravated depreciation of renewables in the US - this is going to get ugly. Don't even get me started on TX.

@SusanBEdelman @leoniehaimson I bet that cost per pupil would be much lower if we weren’t using mandated, boring canned curriculums that are out of touch for our student body or spending money on coaches who barely have any classroom experience or know what our students need.

As @leoniehaimson notes, teachers need not seek donations or pay for menstrual pads and related hygiene products for their students. Public schools must make them available for free to kids in grade 4 and up, as required by state and NYC law.
