Ok I think I’m finally maturing in the hobby… Went to the shops yesterday to buy a Hertiage Baseball Mega Box ($80). Had second thoughts while in there, went onto eBay and bought a single I’d be looking at for a while instead. Proud of me guys?! 😂

@ChrisAdamsMLP And they likely won’t do anything to curb this sort of behavior because of the labor it takes to manage “fair distribution”. You’re right to assess the opportunity cost for you to stand in line and you’re making the right choice.

This is why people leave the hobby. I haven’t even touched a single Ascended Heroes product yet. “UgH dOn’T hAtE tHe PlAyEr, hAtE tHe GaMe” “sKiLl IsSuE bRo” My job keeps me from being able to hit restocks. I love the hobby, but shiny cardboard is not enough of a reason to make a drastic life decision by leaving a stress free job while I work on starting my own business. So no, it’s not a skill issue, and yes, I will very much dislike people who take way more than they should in order to take advantage, rip off, and essentially steal from other people. This hobby may not cool down for a long time, but there are certainly measures Pokemon and retailers can take to curb this kind of activity, and they aren’t.

I bought an 85" Sony Bravia from @BestBuy on March 1st. Delivery took 12 days. Now mounting has been delayed another week and just got cancelled again via email. I've been lied to and given the runaround by at least 5 different employees. A @BestBuySupport agent on X even told me to wait until he gets back from vacation to 'fix' it. I spoke with someone from 'corporate' this morning who told me she has to investigate and will possibly get back to me tomorrow. @BestBuy doesn't seem to care and refuses to actually mount the TV. @BestBuySupport help? This is unacceptable for a big purchase. Here's a picture of the TV in the box sitting in my living room.

I had a card listed on eBay for 4 dollars. Someone offered me 2. I don’t even negotiate at that point, straight decline. If you are wanting 50 % off a 4 dollar card you can kick rocks. Opinions? @CardPurchaser
