@DrSusanOliver1 @JoshHalliday If Richard Taylor is any indication of the “experts” that McDonald is relying on then Letby is staying put! That “intubation” was pathetic! And fooled nobody with a working brain cell.

Perhaps @JoshHalliday should reread his reporting if he is now fooled by Letby's PR circus. A quick fact check shows that the so-called international experts have got basic facts (dates of death, ventilator settings, etc) wrong.
Josh Halliday@JoshHalliday

@DebbieKennett @CroslandCharles @ClarkeMicah Thanks Debbie. But to be completely accurate I reported the trial faithfully as it unfolded in court. I don’t project personal opinions onto my news reporting but it appears there is now a risk that the convictions are unsafe.

@DebRoberts22249 Wow Deb! That’s a much more realistic version of the truth than that misinformed, regurgitated nonsense shown on ITV. Well done! 👏

@SaraLockwood_x @DebRoberts22249 Exactly that. This is all about McDonut raising his profile. It’s nothing to do with Letby. He’s not bothered about what happens to her as long as he can swan about in the limelight.

@DebRoberts22249 I think he knew this would happen, he doesnt believe in her innocence. This is all about getting his face on the TV screens and his personal profile upped. Strange man.

There are quite a number of Letby lovers who need to question themselves as to why I trigger them so much, just what it is that they find so very offensive about my posting facts and backing up what I say with screenshots. I'm so very sorry that your limited intelligence means that you don't understand what "The experts are pretty unanimous - she's guilty" means. Life must be such a struggle for you, you have my sincere pity.🥹🥹

I think Brearey and co were deliberately going for Level 3 status by admitting extremely high risk babies. It was an experiment. Exactly in the philosophy of Sir Duncan Nichols, former NHS tsar, chairman of CoCH Trust.

More than six months ago, Lucy Letby applied for me to be put on her 'approved visitor' list. Who is blocking me? And, in their own words, DS Paul Hughes and DS Blackwell arrested Letby based on two totally false assumptions.. Read my column here ✍️ share.google/baIjYrhw0XRCZa…

The “standards” of scientific and statistical proof used to convict Letby, and the willfull blindness to the substandard care and serious medical errors in the treatment of these poor babies make me embarrassed to be British.

I am taking a break from X for a bit. So this is one last thought - could it be that Lucy Letby has been scapegoated once for failures by others, and that she could be scapegoated again for what may well come to look like a reluctance if not a resistance to face up to those wider failures?

Three months into the murder trial, Letby’s defence team applied for evidence from Dewi Evans to be excluded due to an adverse judgment from a judge in a previous case, who said that a report by Dr Evans was “worthless” and “makes no effort to provide a balanced opinion”.

@DebRoberts22249 @DrSusanOliver1 If someone disagrees with a paper the normal procedure is to either write a new paper challenging the findings (which would be peer reviewed) or to write a letter. Letters are published at the discretion of the editor with the authors given the right of reply.

@DebRoberts22249 @berrysurviving @triedbystats @cjsnowdon And one of them told us Letby is innocent because nurses are altruistic 🤭 Then accused Dr Breary of damaging the baby’s liver. Lee now says liver was damaged as a result of trauma at birth. You couldn’t make it up!

@berrysurviving @triedbystats @cjsnowdon It's like Lee's panel, none of the experts may have agreed that there was no harm, or maybe they all did, , but they state 14 experts when it may only be 2 - Lee and Modi.

This is such a dumb point that keeps coming up. “Two juries saw all the evidence”. One jury saw all of the evidence and 10 of them thought she was guilty on most counts. 11 on three. On baby K that jury could not reach a verdict. One jury saw evidence related to baby K. They thought she was guilty of that. It’s a mistake to conflate these. One jury expressly *wasn’t* sure she committed the attack on Baby K. The other jury only reached a verdict on Baby K, they didn’t look at the other evidence and weren’t asked for a verdict on those counts. The second jury disagreed with the first.

@DebRoberts22249 Given Hunt’s stance during the TI it is a bit baffling why he’s suddenly had a change of heart. Unless he’s had a letter from Thirlwall 🤔 One things for sure - His latest plan will benefit Jeremy Hunt more than Letby.

This is Jeremy Hunt's testimony to Thirlwall in January, one can only ask what has changed? What is there to gain with his article now? He is aware that there is an application with the CCRC at the moment, an application that has already been very unfairly fast-tracked. He gives lip service to the families but his words appear to have little meaning, they must be devastated today. #lucyletby @legalmarkmc @AnEmergentI @drphilhammond @johnsweeneyroar @DavidDavisMP @NadineDorries @jontay44 @evenhanded909 @danwootton @thecarolemalone @LeeShoo @NeenaModi1 @thejeremyvine @Mephitisblog @adamhpking @DavidRoseUK @rosiew5 @Jeremy_Hunt

@Jeremy_Hunt only the nursing rota used in the Lucy Letby case? no equivalent rota for doctors or visitor logs included at trial a broader rota did originally exist with nurses and doctors but the doctors column was removed before being shown to the jury telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/09/2…

@DebRoberts22249 Isn’t it strange how all the Letbyists like to discuss any baby who wasn’t on the indictment. Like 7, 15, 28, 60 (the number changes with every post) babies died when Letby wasn’t on duty. Actual facts mean nothing to them.

This account should be called To be Dishonest. He is talking about a baby with hyperinsulinemia, who also had high insulin levels with low c peptide levels, but who wasn't in the indictment. Maybe he will be in the next set of charges. Hyperinsulinemia is NOT a cause for the discrepancy in levels, so it is not the gotcha he thinks it is. To bring the memory of Sally Clark into the equation is absolutely disgraceful.
TobeHonest@TobeHon29809726

So Dr Soni a paediatrician at Countess of Chester found that one of the babies Dewi Evans said was murdered by insulin injection actually had a genetic condition which explained the levels of insulin found in the child. The CPS withheld it from the defence. Sally Clark was released on the spot in January 2003 after a pathology report was found which explained why Harry died - and had been withheld. Sir Robin Spencer, then Robin Spencer QC was the prosecuting barrister. Sallys husband told me how shocking it was that once that report was found and a new Appeal was applied for, Robin Spencer dragged out the case for months, even over Christmas which meant she was separated from her very young surviving child for months when she should have been released to properly grieve, recover from the brutal miscarriage of justice and bond with her toddler. But he denied her that. She never recovered, released a broken woman and died in 2007. RIP Sally, Christopher and Harry. Robin Spencer QC was made a high court judge a few years after Sally died and as Sir Robin Spencer became the single Appeal Court Judge to refuse Lucy Letby an Appeal. This news today about the withheld report of Dr Soni should trigger an immediate Appeal and release on the spot for Lucy. Let’s not repeat the same delaying tactics of Chester based Sir Robin Spencer!
