From the very start of the Lucy Letby case, I've been saying 'not guilty'. The prosecution made her guilt appear before the jury in the same way a skilled illusionist can make the Statue of Liberty DISappear – misdirection, smoke and mirrors! FFS, set this poor woman free! 🙏

Funny how no one knows the location or time, Petey. You have your selected press pack. Are any unbiased and professional journalists attending? Please let us know who does after the event. You have nothing to hide after all, it would be good for you to be able to dismiss the doubters like me. Were @lizhull or @judithmoritz invited, or @JoshHalliday of the Guardian? Maybe @markdowling from Chester Standard or @MrDanDonoghue? After all they were in court every day, they could help your cause.

Trying to cast aspersions, Petey? You know me enough to know I come from truth, unlike you. I'm not interested in misrepresenting anything, it is so much more liberating than the lengths you need to reach, you should really try it. So we now have the lack of a fibrin clot to explain why Baby O's alleged needle laceration that didn't bleed,e from, what caused the other liver injuries that DID bleed, why he originally needed resus and where all the air came from. Petey, Petey, Petey, don't give up the day job.

No time or venue appears to have been given that I have seen.🤔🤔 I doubt very much that independent and unbiased members of the press have been invited. I am sure Sweeney, Knapton, Hitchens, maybe Hammond are rehearsing the timing of their primed questions in the mirror as we speak. Sweeney probably needs to be a little less obvious than last time. McDonald will be going over the script he wrote for Michael Stone in 2017. Busy night for them.

My view on Letby is very simple. Nurse murderers do happen but they’re very rare. Doctors’ mistakes are far more common. So before Letby was convicted of murder after so many unexpected neonatal collapses, there needed to be a robust analysis of whether doctors had made mistakes in the management of the babies, and whether doctors had made mistakes in their analysis of why the babies had collapsed. This did not happen at the original trial, but I’m glad it is happening now.

This is EXACTLY what the Thirlwall Inquiry has been doing when opportunity has presented. It didn't dispel this story with KDB, and that will be cos it was true.

Clearly, nobody with a shred of intelligence could think Lucy Letby's convictions are 'safe' and yet the scum of the earth (or, at least, the scum of Twitter) continue to scream for her to be burned at the stake for crimes she almost certainly didn't commit. God help us all! 🙄

There is no absolute certainty in medicine, but from what I have read it is more likely that baby C and baby O died from a combination of critically illness and substandard care than murder.

We were asked repeatedly by journalists for our comments on the alledged #letby #whistleblowers in the days and weeks following the verdict, we declined to comment but our silence was noted. Recently several journalists including @telegraph contacted us asking why we were the only #whistleblowing org to have kept our distance from these #whistleblowers we will always answer honestly. Every day we speak to ordinary #whistleblowers who risk all to speak out to protect others, we will never see the word #whistleblower misused. The individuals in the #letby case are not #whistleblowers and this case could tarnish genuine #whistleblowers make it harder for the genuine to be believed. We have no view re #letby only on the the issue of #whistleblowing
