NEWS: Tesla is Robotaxi service testing in Orlando, Florida. Multiple new Model Ys with rear camera washers and Texas manufacturer license plates have been spotted at the Tesla Lee Vista Blvd store in Orlando. Only the Model Y Robotaxis in Austin have had rear camera washers. Tesla said on its Q4 earnings call that Orlando was one of the 7 planned metro areas that would see robotaxi coverage in the first half of 2026. Thx for sending me the pics @lucretiupop!

UPDATE: Elon Musk says the driver of this Cybertruck disengaged Autopilot four seconds before crashing, which means the driver was manually driving during this entire clip that Fox shared. Elon: "As anyone knows who uses it, that video is not how Autopilot drives."

Would never trade my Cybertruck for a Model X, but I already have both. Cybertruck is just more fun for the driver, but the X is comfier for passengers. Less crazies but whatever. There’s a lot more things you need to baby on the X like don’t adjust the suspension much or it’ll break the CV joints. Some Xs eat tires no matter how you drive @darewecan traded his in for a Y. My X has 20k on it same tires no issues and it’s a plaid.

This is a good example of the importance of personal & on-vehicle learning. The first time I saw him I also thought he was trying to stop traffic but now I know, and I waive back. FSD doesn't currently have a function to remember nuance like this

FSD cannot comprehend that this crossing guard is just a friendly guy and not trying to stop traffic. In the morning, he waives to passing cars. FSD slams the brakes every time his hand goes up.

@StevenPoint1 99% the truck. People are too stupid to use their brains to sort through other vehicle designs. Assuming our other cars just blend in like a Camry.

What advice would you give a new Cybertruck owner here so they can enjoy their new truck? I said Sentry is a must for parking lots. I don’t worry about ours when parked except at night in sketchy places once in awhile.

Tesla Cybertruck software update 2026.8 now includes the Blind Spot Anti-Opening feature, first introduced with the Model 3. The Cybertruck can now detect cars, pedestrians, and cyclists in your blind spot and prevent you from opening the door if danger is detected.

Just got 2026.2.9.1 on my Cybertruck, but no ANC is listed in the release notes.
